My family and I had a wonderful experience with City Wonders and their team on our trip to Pompeii! Our driver, Luca, was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, the ride was calm and smooth the entire journey. It was a very long journey from Rome but he managed to make it as easy as possible and even avoided some traffic and got us back to Rome in good time. Huge thanks to our guide Alessandro, who made the day entertaining, interesting and fun. He's extremely knowledgeable of history, architecture, and all sorts of sights. He has a great sense of humour and was very caring of our experience. We had great fun with him throughout the day. We visited Pompeii and were led by Roberto, who made the tour educational while very fun and entertaining. He was a pleasure to walk around with. The whole day was perfect and we enjoyed every bit of it. Amazing team and the organisation was impeccable. I'm certain to look for City Wonders whenever I want to plan a trip in the future as they have tours in other countries too. Highly recommend!

The itinerary was perfectly balanced: rich history in Pompeii, charm and beauty in Sorrento, and jaw-dropping scenery along the Amalfi Coast. Everything was seamless, well-organized, and never rushed. If you’re considering this tour, do not hesitate. With Enrica as your guide and Lucas as your driver, you’re in the very best hands. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will treasure forever. Highly, highly recommended!

It was a really great immersive and informative experience. Ion was a fantastic and knowledgeable tour guide, he told us many interesting facts legends about all the places we visited. We definitely learnt a lot from him! Would definitely be going with city wonders again :)

Enrica (not sure of the spelling) was our tour manager. She was outstanding! Her knowledge and interesting stories made the trip more lively and fun. We love her! Giovanni was our driver. He made the trip as smooth as possible. I don't know how he was able to expertly navigate such narrow roads. I highly recommend this trip to everyone. The Pauls Simi Valley, CA 🇺🇸

The Pompeii portion of the tour was great and the Pompeii guide, Fabio, was really the best guide of the 4 tours we took in Italy this trip. What a fascinating city, with remarkable preservation. Fabio shared a lot of facts with us during the tour, including how archeologists have created casts of the victim's remains, how bread was actually recovered from ovens, how roads and sidewalks, and plumbing were designed and built. Sorrento was interesting, and my family had fun wandering the streets visiting shops. We left Rome at 750am and returned about 830pm. Obviously most of that time was on the coach, but it had wifi and was comfortable. They stop at a rest area at the half way point in each direction. Our tour director, Flavio, and driver, Gianni, both great, helped coordinate lunch for us in Pompeii before we boarded the coach for the trip to Sorrento. My family of 4 just shared 2 margaritas pizzas. We got some snacks in Sorrento, but also had granola bars and apples to tide us over until we got back to Rome. Totally recommend this company and our guides. Pompeii was a can't miss for me, and this delivered what i wanted.

We had a wonderful long day. Laura our guide was informative and easy to understand. I appreciated the TripAdvisor text keeping us informed along the way as we had booked many months ago. That was reassuring. Great tour we could highly recommend.

We had a most wonderful day with our guide guilia. It was a long day with lorabof travel but very worth it. There were enough stops along the way and pompeii was amazing to see. Just a wonderful snapshot of the site (we have been previously so know uou could spend days wondering around). Sorrento was such a wonderful town. Again a great snapshot. I am sure we could spend days exploring. The weather for us was very overcast and threatening rain but we ere very lucy to only have a few drops of rain. Despute this we had a wonderful day. Such a good way to see things on a time budget. Price was reasonable. We got a filling local lunch of neoplolitan pizza and pastry.

One of the best experiences. Our tour guide Parnian was so knowledgeable, I learnt a lot about Italy from her. The tour itself is structured well, we had a professional tour guide in Pompeii who showed us the archeological park, it was cool to see the Liomoncello factory and how the delicious drink is manufactured. Sorrento is truly the place to be, one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore out of Rome.
