First, they separated us into groups, there were definitely more than 50 people so we were separated and the first group was able to go to their destinations fairly quickly. We stopped at a touristy place for a bathroom break and got a bite to eat, before we got to Pompeii, we were offered pizza to order that way after we were finished with Pompeii, we could eat on the way. Well, my husband and I decided not to because we figured, great! We’ll will just eat in another hour or so in sorrento! Nope! We had to wait until everyone was finished eating before leaving. At this point, we were at Pompeii for about 3 hours. Already an hour past what was supposed to be. The guides then decided to stop at the limoncello tasting which last about 20 min. Really just another tourist trap spot. Then we drove into sorrento and were told we only had 1.5 hrs. On the itinerary, it reads 3 hrs in Sorrento, this was what initially brought us to purchase. By the time we found a place to eat and finished our meal, we had about 15-20 min left. Zero time to explore or look around. A huge gip. When we left it took us awhile to get back, around 4/5 hrs. The total time for this tour was about 13/14 hrs. We spent 191.00 to spend 1.5 hrs in sorrento 3hrs in Pompeii-45 min was to wait for people to eat, walk into two tourist traps and a long trip on a charter bus back home in traffic. I asked for a refund seeing as this was not what was advertised. City wonders denied it. Would not do again and would not recommend, it takes up the whole day and you’re on their time. Use a train.

The day trip to Pompeii and Sorrento was awesome! Tour guide was dynamic and driver got us to our destinations and back safely and smoothly. The trip was long but time in Pompeii and Sorento was enough to see and appreciate these places. The local guide in Pompeii was informative and really brought the history and context of the ruins we were seeing. This day is a must to do when in Rome.

Great tour to see Pompeii. They should however, spent more time there than going to Sorrento as it was just not enough time in Sorrento. I felt rushed in Pompeii with so much to see there and explore.

Such a fantastic and beautiful experience. Ion (John) was a great guide and provided fun facts but also took the time to ensure we were all making the best of our trip. Make sure you have a water bottle because the drive is a little long but overall very worth every penny spent! Ion really made the experience worth taking and would definitely take another tour if I knew he was leading the way. Thank you!

The day was cloudy, so we couldn't apreciate in full the beauty of Sorrento, Sonia did a good job, the guide at Pompeii was oustanding (I think her name is Valentina, I'm embarrased cos I'm not sure). Be aware that the arena where Pink Floyd played is not included since it's too far

It was a good trip, but anyone looking for a fully guided tour throughout their trip(including Sorrento) should know that you only have a guide in Pompeii.
