Sung Sot Cave

Exploring Sung Sot cave. This is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. The cave has some unique rock formations which couldn’t be found anywhere else. The path to the mouth of Sung Sot Cave is under a canopy of leaves. Walking through steep stone steps, tourists may have the feeling of climbing on mountains and experience the excitement as if they are stepping to the sky.

The description is misleading. It’s not really a cruise. It’s a “drive two hours in a bus (although very comfortable), ferry out to a moored ship in the Bay for 20-30 mins where you will spend the night surrounded by other moored ships or passing ships” trip. The staff was very friendly. If we had known that we wouldn’t actually be cruising, we would not have taken the trip.
Be careful with the cleaning staff!!!!!

The crew constantly asks for tips but then offers no assistance. If you forget something in your room, even if you're still on the ship, they'll take it and not return it. I find it disrespectful to steal from customers when they're giving you such generous tips. The experience was good until I was robbed. Be careful with the cleaning staff; check your belongings thoroughly.

The experience on Amanda Luxury Cruise was great. The staff and particularly David were exceptional and very attentive and friendly. The cruise itself and the scenery was spectacular and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Would definitely recommend.
