tip
We will taste the typical Valpolicella wines but more important you will meet the family behind the cellar. Fratelli VOGADORI is a family winery in Negrar di Valpolicella, the heart of the Classico area of the Valpolicella wine region. Fratelli is the italian for brothers: Alberto, Gaetano and Emanuele work together their vineyards and produce the great wines of this generous land (no employees at all only the family is involved in the cellar). We produce the wines we like in a green way: no herbicide, no pesticide, no chemical. Come to check! :) Valpolicella, 100% Corvina, Raffaello, Amarone Grazie and Rita wines are appreciated all around the world. Amarone Grazie is our best wine produced only in the best vintage: this is a meditation wine! We will taste also the Grappa di Amarone and the Extravergin Olive Oil!

Fantastic authentic experience. Incredibly delicious wine tasting of 5 wines, as well as self-produced olive oil and grappa. The owner himself, Emanuele, was great at telling both details about their processes in the production of the various wines as well as stories about both the farm itself, which had been inherited from his grandfather to father to him. After the wine tasting we were even allowed to take a walk in the area and see the beautiful grape trees.

We were greeted informally and we loved this. 6 tastings of delicious wine and oil just the same. The presentation of the company and the wines is clear, simple and not at all boring. We were really pleased. Thank you.

We stopped in the cellar with our camper taking advantage of the pitches made available by the company. The location is really beautiful, in the middle of the vineyards and overlooking the village of Negrar and Valpolicella. At the base of our stop there was however the desire to know the small local realities of the area. We participated in the tasting, welcomed and accompanied by Emanuele. The first thing you notice is the passion with which the three brothers carry on the family business, beautiful to hear about how previous generations started and the business and how heartily the present generation carries on the tradition. Only the tour of the vineyards and cellars accompanied by the explanation of how their wine is born is worth the visit. The products are excellent and the techniques used even if in step with the times recall the traditions of previous generations. Highly recommended for a tasting or even better, for a camper stop.

We had a wonderful tasting with Emanuele, very detailed descriptions of the wines, and interesting history of his grandfather and father before him. Delicious lineup of wines, wonderful olive oil, and a small sip of grappa. His son was helpful as well with a bit of translation. Fantastic time, highly recommend.

This winery is absolutely amazing. We did a tasting and they brought out some bread and other things to eat with the wine that complimented everything well. He explained the wines in great detail and in a way that everyone could understand. During the tasting, we toured the building and got to see where they dry the grapes and some of their equipment for making the wine. The wines! The wines were superb. I can't say enough good things about the wines. We also got to sample the olive oil and Grappa di Amarone that they also produce on-site. If you visit Northern Italy, GO HERE!

My friends gave me the tasting at this family-run winery that I found great! The “younger brother” who guided us in the tasting was really kind and passionate, you can see that he does his job with care and dedication. Very good wines, my favorites were “Tre fradei” and “Rita”, also delicious oil and taralli al vino, always made by them. Thanks again for the beautiful and very good experience!
