Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants. There are over 900 African elephants in Amboseli, as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, monkeys, zebras, hyenas and antelope. With its awesome view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa's highest mountain), Amboseli National Park offers a unique and breathtaking backdrop for viewing Africa's animals.
You are able to take snap shots of animals against Mt.Kilimanjaro.

What To Expect
Amboseli National Park
We will depart from Nairobi for Amboseli National Park at 5.30am. Upon arrival, we begin a full-day exploration of this famous wildlife reserve. Most famous for its stunning views of Africa's highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park offers photographers the rare opportunity to snap photos wild animals against the startling backdrop of Africa's most famous mountain. The park is home to a large resident population of Burchell’s zebras. Other herbivores include Thomson’s and Grants gazelles, buffalo, warthog, Maasai giraffe, impala, water buck and dik-dik. Baboons and Vervet monkeys inhabit the scarce woodlands. Carnivores are represented by lions, spotted hyenas, wild cats, jackals, caracals and cheetahs. With regards to birds, more than 400 species of birds have been registered. You’ll have lunch at a safari lodge and an afternoon game drive. You will then exit the park and start your journey back to Nairobi bringing to an end what we believe will be a memorable safari in Amboseli.

5.00Listen, if you only have one day to spare, this tour is an excellent choice. The day was packed with unforgettable moments, from close wildlife encounters to sweeping views of the park’s landscapes. The person to show us around was a wonderful guy, Boniface. He was an excellent guide who made the experience both educational and enjoyable. He went the extra mile to ensure the day ran smoothly and that everyone felt engaged. All I can is, it proves that even a short safari can be deeply enriching when done right. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nairobi.

One thing that impressed me is the awestriking landscapes, and also the wildlife sightings were frequent and rewarding. We watched elephants roam freely with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background which was a surreal experience. However, part of that was made possible by our outstanding guide, Boniface. He spotted animals with ease and shared interesting facts along the way. Overall, he created a friendly atmosphere that made the long day enjoyable. Even as a day trip, the safari felt immersive and well balanced. I left feeling deeply connected to the beauty of Kenya’s wildlife.
