Come and taste the best that Amsterdam has to offer! Together, let’s take a bite of Amsterdam's best food including classic Dutch options that I have selected for you (Gouda Cheese, crispy Dutch fries, fried fish, herring, grilled cheese,, wonderful Apple Pie or pofertjes and the famous stroopwaffle!).
We are going to explore the city and fill our bellies with some amazing street food like real locals (with a real local!). We will also take a bite of Amsterdam's history with funny anecdotes while learning more about one of the most beautiful city in Europe! I will recount to you incredible stories about the Dutch culture and at the end, you will be like a real Dutch person, walking through the city, eating some great Dutch food and understanding the Dutch way of life!

5.00We had a wonderful time on our food tasting tour of Amsterdam yesterday with Danielle! She had such a wonderful, personable manner and had great stories and off the beaten path stops. We got to taste all of the Amsterdam favorites and we went home full! Our favorite bites were the cheese toasties, the stroop waffles, and the Kibbeling, but everything was fun to try. Highly recommend!

5.00I cannot speak highly enough about this food tour. We chose to take it early on in our vacation - it was myself, husband, and our 8 year old child. Our son was not feeling well, combined with jetlag and not eating his normal foods - he was unwell. Barni was our tour host, he was so accommodating. At our first stop he immediately noticed my son not participating and sent in Ivanna - she is the owner's wife. The owner of the company who runs these tours - Ollantay. Ivanna swooped in like the knowledgeable mother she is and took me and my son to the next stop where she had them make ginger herbal tea to calm my child's stomach. She also got him Orange Juice (for the fiber) and she knew to ask him if he had to go potty. 10-15 minutes later (while she waited with us) he had a successful session in the restroom that Ivanna dutifully waited outside to guard. It was just incredible service when truly she could've just said "Come back another time" - Alas - Our son was feeling drastically better and was able to enjoy the rest of the tour - and enjoy we did! While I am sad to have missed the cheeses - we got to taste everything else and when I tell you to come back to Toastable to order the chicken sandwich - DO IT! We did and we are still dreaming of the sandwich days later!!! This tour has wonderful food but even better - we met some incredible people and both Barni and Ivanna really were a highlight of our trip. Amsterdam is filled with lovely people and lovely stories. It was a highlight to meet a few of those people and also experience amazing food. Highly Recommend!!! We will return!

5.00We genuinely enjoyed the tour! Roman's incredibly passionate about what he does. I enjoyed all of it -- the sweet and savoury food, the (optional) beer, the sights of Amsterdam. We were in awe as to how Roman memorised all our names after we introduced ourselves the first time, arranged for food alternatives for those with dietary restrictions, conjured up a chair for an elderly lady in the group, and controlled traffic to ensure we were safe. He had a lovely sense of humour and the guide he sent after the tour was helpful, too. By the end of the tour, I tried several things I hadn't tried before and gained a new appreciation of the city. I actually really enjoyed the herring and dream of having it again! I would have perhaps liked to have tried a traditional Dutch split pea sausage soup and some coffee/hot chocolate along the way, but hey, a 3.5-hour trip can't possibly cover everything. Would highly recommend!
