Great food experience in the Jordaan area of the city! Anouk was a great guide taking us to amazing low key but great quality food spots and also telling us stories of the area as we passed by.

The Secret Food Tour was fantastic. All of the food we sampled was delicious and gave us a taste of the history of cuisine in Amsterdam.Highlights were the apple pie and the stop for fish. I even tried the herring which was delicious! Mike was a great guide and very informative. It was just like going out with a good friend! The stops were spread out and we had a great walking tour filled with not just food but historical facts as well.

Lorenzo was the best guide. Very good descriptions, history and trivia provided. Great! One thing is that at some food stops there was no room for us inside and we had to stand on the street to eat samples.

Lorenzo was a calming presence, kind and pleasant. He made the tour an enjoyable experience, which felt more intimate with our small group. Very knowledgeable with providing information on a breadth of topics, but humble enough to admit if he didn’t know specifics. Despite not receiving my email about my allergies, Lorenzo remained vigilant with making sure I was not exposed to any peanuts throughout the entire tour.
