The guide, Stephane Conings was very kind with us, he explained very well. He took good quality pictures and shared them with us. He’s also very funny, we laughed quite a lot. He showed us beautiful places and he taught new things. If I had to do this tour again, I would chose him to guide us.

Riding with Stephane was like riding with a good friend - talking and learning together. Got a great on the ground/ on wheels understanding of Amsterdam! Loved it!

The 2.5-hour bike tour with Sophia was great and also for my 11-year-old daughter the highlight of our Amsterdam weekend! At the central starting point near the station, we first received a brief briefing on how to safely thread our way into Amsterdam’s bicycle traffic, which appears wild from the outside. Then it started on not entirely new, but functional and comfortable “granny Holland bikes”: Like the duck children, we drove after Sophia along more or less winding paths to various sights of Amsterdam around the old town. At the respective stops, Sophia told us not only interesting and entertaining things about the attractions - she also pointed us to special, less touristy places. She also let us know about Amsterdam's idiosyncrasies, challenges and changes of the city. Surely we were lucky because we were a very small group with only four participants. So, of course, there was more time for personal interviews and questions. Nevertheless, I think it was also due to Sophia's friendly, open manner that nothing about her tour seemed memorized and chattered down, but showed honest and rousing enthusiasm. Even “pedagogically” the whole thing fit: Sophia always kept an eye on us; gave clear hand signals in time during the journey and stopped immediately if any of us had not made it through the traffic lights in time, for example. Back at the starting point, Sophia gave us personal food and shopping tips and I am sure we learned more about the city in time with her than an ordinary tour could have given us. By the way, we had also quickly become accustomed to the Amsterdam cycling style - motto: Go with the flow!
