We drive about 43 kilometers to Anakulam via Lekshmi mountain (road) . The unspoken feel of beauty and serenity together meet at a forest locked village called Aanakulam. Elephants dally here in large social groups in human inhabited areas, which is something unique about this scenic spot. Two tributaries of Periyaar, namely, Idacholayaar and Nallatanniyaar wets and nourishes this land. Accessibility depends on jeep service
Everyone can enjoy elephant herds within a distance of 50 meter.
Anakulam is an amphitheatre surrounded by Reserve forests. It has high uniqueness due to geographical, climatic and cultural richness. The of Muthuvans and Hill Pulayas are suigeneris by its own.

5.00I would highly recommend this day trip with Mani! He was incredibly knowledgeable and happily stopped the truck whenever there was something interesting to see or whenever we wanted to take photos. He even treated us to some delicious tea, which was a lovely touch. We were lucky enough to see elephants at the watering hole around 6 pm, which was an amazing bonus—and Mani made it clear that we could stay as long as we liked. An unforgettable experience, highly recommended! 😊

5.00This was a wonderful and highly memorable full days excursion. Surya, our driver and guide was brilliant and even generously took us to his own home to meet his wife and baby at the start of the tour. We then went to walk through tea plantations visit waterfalls, caves and even the massive zip wire which wasn’t unexpected additional option. The lunch at the restaurant was truly delicious and although we were not lucky enough to see any elephants, we really did not mind as the whole day was fantastic.

5.00Brilliant experience. Mani was a great driver and guide with lots of knowledge to share. Took us to some great spots to swim and walk and waited later than normal to allow us to see the elephants who didn't arrive until 7pm.

5.00It's been a wonderful experience; our guide Mani, has shown us many places around Munnar: tea plantations, waterfalls, local life, Kerala dinner and best of all...opportunity to see families of elephants taking a bath in the river bank. So, such incredible sights with this tour! Highly reconmended!!! :)

5.00The tour was very complete and full of interesting stops and information. Our guide Mani was great, very professional, knowledgeable and great driver. We were very lucky and got to see 18 elephants at the view point! Breathtaking! I highly recommend taking this tour it was one of the highlights of our trip.

He took us to the waterfalls, Tiger Cave, and even helped us spot a wild elephant while it was washing. He explained everything patiently, drove safely through all the routes, and made the whole day feel smooth and enjoyable. Devadas is kind, knowledgeable, and truly knows the area inside out. If you’re planning a trip around Analkulam or nearby places, I highly recommend asking for him. He made our day unforgettable in the best way! 🌿🚗✨

5.00This was such a fun way to explore all the beautiful sites in Munnar. Our driver and guide, Rahul, showed us the beautiful tea plantations and we learned about the different teas harvested here. We also saw some incredible waterfalls. We even got lucky and saw a whole herd of elephants. We really enjoyed the Jeep ride and this tour and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Munnar!
