Neak Pean
Move to Neak Pean an artificial island with a Buddhist temple on a circular island in Jayatataka Baray.
Banteay Srei
Visit the well-preserved Banteay Srei. The detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest, most skillfully crafted in Cambodia.
Pre Rup
Pre Rup Hindu Temple was built as the state temple of Khmer King Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961 or early 962. It is a temple mountain constructed with a combination of brick, laterite, and sandstone. You will enjoy the stunning sunset at either Pre Rup or Bakheng Temple, depending on the time of year. Return to town in the late afternoon after a memorable day of exploration.
We begin with a pre-dawn departure (4.10 to 4.30 am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Enter the great temple in darkness from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world. Soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest.
Angkor Thom
Angkor Thom is the majestic site once served as the Khmer Empire's glistening capital city. Take a moment to consider its grandiosity before venturing inside the city. Arriving at the temple at Bayon, appreciate its beautifully crafted central towers covered in more than 200 enormous faces.
Angkor Thom South Gate
This majestic site once served as the Khmer Empire's glistening capital city. Take a moment to consider its grandiosity before venturing inside the city.
Terrace of the Elephants

One of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s, when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered’ this crumbling site. After exploring the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long but fulfilling day, which will leave you with a lifetime of memories of one of the wonders of the world.

Get ready for temples, history, and lots of walking. Our stop points were shifted so we would miss the crowds which was optimal. David was such a fantastic tour guide: you can tell he’s so passionate about his job in what he points out and how he expresses himself. I watched him treat everyone so kindly: the children selling magnets, other tourists needing photos taken, and locals on the street. He was very good at making sure we had the best experience. He wanted to take nice photos for us and to find the best spots to see certain things. We were also given many bottles of water to beat the heat! Any questions we had were answered. I’ve been on hundreds of tours and they can be the same, but David’s personality and general happiness for the tour stood out the most. I wish you luck in your future, David! Thank you!

We booked the 2 days trip to see the sunset and sunrise and it was absolutely beautiful. First day we visited some of the main temples on the Angkor Area. And on the second day, our highlight of the tour, we saw the sunrise above the Angkor Wat temple. On top, we had the best travel group with people from all around the world! The tour guide called us “Bun’s Family” and it really felt like one! Bun told us so many cool facts and combined them with jokes, while having such a calm and pleasant manner to talk. Mao, our driver, got us everywhere so safely and provided us with cold water and refreshing towels. They make a perfect team! So if you want to have the best experience, while visiting Cambodias history, then ask for Bun and Mao 🫶🏼

We enjoyed this excursion very much. In particular, we would like to complement our guide Bun and our driver Mao who provided excellent service during the two days. Bun had a very deep knowledge of history of temples and Cambodian history which he shared with us with humour. I would wholeheartedly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

I had a great time exploring some of the beautiful temples there are to see in Siem Reap. Chhay was a wonderful tour guide, telling our group an extensive amount of information in great english. He also answered any and every question we had (which was a lottt). Also, our bus driver was very nice, always making sure we had cold water for our walks, and when we came back, as well as cold towels. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend Chhay as your tour guide if you have the opportunity :)

We had a fabulous 2 day tour with Journey Cambodia to Angkor Wat and many other amazing temples. Sunrise was a key feature as was the small group size and excellent tour guide, Bun, and driver Mao. If you are looking to see the best in Angkor Siem Reap with a knowledgeable and delightful tour guide then I highly recommend Journey Cambodia

This was a truly fantastic tour and I would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Cambodia for the first time. Bun and Mao are two amazing guides who were friendly, open, knowledgeable and so accommodating over the two days. It was a real joy and the tour exceeded my expectations. It's a great way to see angkor wat at its best in the morning whilst exploring more remote temples in the surrounding area. Bun made us feel very comfortable and engaged throughout- thank you again for everything!

Had the best experience visiting Angkor Wat and the temples with our guide Mr. Chhay. My parents went on tour with him 2 years ago and loved it so much they told me to request him. He created a fun relaxed atmosphere, encouraged our curiosity, and answered all our questions. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the history of all the temples and kept us on perfect timing. He shared his experiences and philosophy as well as so much knowledge and tidbits about Cambodian people outside of just history which we really appreciated. I would recommend Journey Cambodia and requesting for Mr. Chhay!!
