Angkor Wat
We begin with a pre-dawn departure (4.30 to 4.40 am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Enter the great temple in darkness from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world. Soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest.
Srah Srang
We end our touring at Angkor with breakfast at Khmer local resturant (breakfast is not included), and a short rest.
Private Angkor Wat Sunrise: Choose the private tour for your group only throughout the day.

The guide I had was very good, but the experience was a bit of a struggle. Two people canceled joining the tour, but only after we had already showed up at their hotel for a 4:30am pickup. Sucks, but oh well. However, the other person on my tour told both me and the guide that he was out all night drinking and hadn't slept. He also had an ankle injury which meant he couldn't walk far at all. He never should have been allowed on the tour, as it had an impact on other paying customers' ability to 1) enjoy the tour without dealing with a drunk and 2) getting to see everything without having to deal with someone with a pre-existing injury who wasn't able to handle the basic tour functions. I also wouldn't recommend the sunrise tour if it's rainy season. There's not much special to see during sunrise if it's cloudy. The only benefit to the early trip is that you can avoid some more heat later in the day.

Many people travel to Siem Reap to see the spectacular Angkor Watt, but his is the only REAL way to do it. Our guide Serakyuth was unreal. His depth of knowledge was unparalleled and whilst you may be tempted to go into this on your own, I can guarantee you won't come close to scratching the surface of history. Serakyuth's knowledge of Cambodia's past was incredible and he always went with the flow of us, never too pushy, and took AMAZING photos. No better guide out there, no better way to do it!

What an amazing experience! Our guide, Pal was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and Cambodia in general. We saw all of the bigger temples…Ta Prong being my favorite. The driver was also wonderful. He gave us cold water and cold wash clothes when we got back in the vehicle. Having the air conditioning in between temples was just what the doctor ordered in the heat! I highly recommend this tour!

My wife and I were slightly disappointed with the experience we had on this tour compared to our experience with a different company seeing some of the lesser known temples around the Siem Reap area. We woke up super early for the sunrise and were sad that our guide directed us to stand in an area that has no view of the sun coming over the temple. The guide seemed to move at a super slow pace while we were visiting things that weren't super interesting and then run past things that we wanted to spend time looking at or taking pictures of, which was incredibly frustrating. The guide didn't give time to let the group ask questions about what they were interested in to allow for an engaging conversation that the group was interested in. That being said, we visited all of the temple locations as advertised on time and there were plenty of cold towels and water bottles.

Chhay was such a funny and charismatic guide, we had a fantastic time! He was passionate and knowledgeable about Cambodian history, and his humour made it all the more engaging.
