The Annapurna Basecamp (ABC) is a trek of a lifetime! Wade through the forests and mountain trails of the Annapurna Sanctuary, experience the local tea houses, eat local foods, meet fellow trekkers, make lifelong friends, and see the sunrise crest over the Himalyan mountains at ABC. It will be one of the most memorable experiences you will have.
Trek with Madu, a local professional guide from Pokhara with over 10 years of trekking and guide experience. On top of reaching ABC, you will also learn about surrounding nature, and the lifestyle, food, and culture of Gurung people.
We will work with you to ensure your holiday in the Himalayas is fun, safe, and unforgettable. Rest easy as we'll take care of all of the permits and logistics. We look forward to trekking with you!

What To Expect
Itinerary Trek one of the most popular and beautiful areas of Nepal, the Annapurna Basecamp and Annapurna Sanctuary. We will trek through the jungles of annapurna, headed towards the basecamp where we will see specatcular views of Annapurna South, Machapuchre aka fishtail, and other peaks from the Annapurna ranges. This trek is fully customizable. If you'd like to trek shorter, longer, or add other places to it (e.g. Poon Hill, the Annapurna Circuit, and/or Mardi himal, please contact me). 5.00It was good. My guide Shreedhar was very helpful. I booked 8 days ABC trek but we finished in 5 days (there is no compensation if you finish earlier). I think it’s normal to finish in 5/6 days. In December it’s cold in the mountains but the weather was really sunny.

5.00I wanna say thank you to Madu for everything you arranged for me. I did the ABC trekking with Madu. Throughout the whole trekking, theres nothing i need to worry for. Madu just did his best to make sure that everything goes well. Of course, the great view we found during trekking is also unforgettable. For everyone who are hesitating on choosing a guide, I recommend you to choose Madu. He will make sure you will have a care-free and fun trekking. You will also find that he is a very nice person and he do really care about your experience and feeling. I would definitely see you in Nepal next time, Madu!

5.00I was fortunate to trek with Madu, his wife Pramila, and two of his friends on a customized tour to Muktinath. Madu made the experience as stress free as possible, as he took care of all of the logistics, from the bus rides, lodging, and ordering food. He also was a wealth of information about the area, introduced us to some of the local culture around the Mustang area, and allowed us some freedom to explore. I'm really grateful to have visited so many Tibetan Buddhist temples, to walk under the 108 water taps at the Muktinath temple, experience a Hindu aarti ceremony, hunt for shaligram on the Kali Kandaki, go cave exploring, and just be in the Himalayas with a caring and trustworthy guide. Whether you want a cultural experience or to trek the Himalayas, Madu will ensure you have the experience of a lifetime. He's a great guy, and even better human being. I've met a guide, and made a good friend.

5.00We have been with 2 other friends trekking around mont Manaslu for 12 days. Madhu the guide build up a team of 4 trekers with a great spirit. He tries the most to be into local stays more that tourist ones. And we all thanked him for that. Always smiling, I think he can make you do a lot more that you think you can. Power of smile and happiness ! He cares about the group he has. I will keep a great memory of this first trek in Nepal! I can only recommend this to all curious people about Nepal and discovering new landscapes, wishing to be together but not too many people. Thank you Madhu!

5.00I went with two of my best friends, all excited about a trek in the Himalayas, not knowing what it entails. I had no preparation apart from the flag I took that I would take a picture with when we are at the Annapurna Basecamp. What came later was terrifying (to me) to say the least. I found out that I have a fear of heights, and have a much weaker heart than I imagined. However, I still managed to go till Machapuchure Basecamp, which is just two hours less of ABC, all because of how fantastic Madhav, the guide was. He held my hand throughout, ensured I am able to march on without feeling guilty or ashamed of my lack of courage unlike my friends, and had a big smile all along. We can't thank him enough for the wonderful time he gave us. He wasn't a guide, he was more a friend we found on the trek who made it even more memorable. I will not go trekking without him, and we already have plans for Mardi Himal!

5.00I am glad that I decided to book a tour with AAA Treks and Expedition. I was my first time to go to Pokhara last April 2019 and my guide Shree was very professional and fun to trek with. The views were not that clear due to the fog but during the end of the trip we were able to see Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhare. I cannot wait to go back book a tour again! Highly recommended!
