Millions of people travel to Amsterdam to see where the Frank family hid from the Nazis. In this guided tour, we walk part of the route Anne took on her journey to the hiding place.
Travelling back in time to Amsterdam of WWII, we’ll experience Anne’s emotions during the dark days of war. Using words from her diary, we'll learn about Anne's life & the ‘secret annex’.
The tour ends in a cafe where you'll have a drink & enter the Secret Annex via the magic of a virtual reality recreation (made by the Anne Frank Foundation). Entering the hiding place through the bookcase, you'll see that unlike the actual house, the VR house still has furniture, giving a feel of how it was to live there in 1942-44.
There’s no crowds, you have the Anne Frank house to yourself to explore at your own pace. This is as close to the real thing as you can get, without stepping foot in the house. Ideal for those who can’t get tickets or access to the Annex.

5.00Our tour guide was great. Tooks us to various parts of Amsterdam that included the path the Frank family took to get to the house behind the house. His knowledge of the history led to us learning much more than we expected. The virtual tour at the end was amazing. The house is quite small (found out on a previous visit) so it can be very claustrophobic. The virtual tour eliminated that aspect.

5.00Keiss was a phenomenal guide. He’s even the great grandson of “the last Amsterdam Jew”. His historical narrative was on point with all the details that mattered. The whole narrative was very interesting and amenable. One experience to do!

5.00Thanks to the luck of the Irish had a fantastic tour . Catherine our tour guide was so knowledgeable, made our time very enjoyable. Her passion for the life of Anne Frank was clearly evident . The highlight of the day was the virtual tour of The Anne Frank House and finding out that Hannah Goslar attended the tour on the 75th anniversary . Great tour , would wholeheartedly recommend.
