  I just want to say my family thoroughly enjoyed the snow fun day at Apukka resort. The activities were so enjoyable and the resort itself is beautiful. I cannot speak more highly about the staff at Apukka resort, they couldn't have been anymore helpful. Our activity took a little longer so we didn't make the bus but the staff dropped my family back to our accomodation in the city centre. 3 course buffet lunch included and was really welcomed after our day in the snow. I'm already planning our stay next winter at Apukka resort. It is the most beautiful scenic place. Thank you to all staff at Apukka

  We booked 2 tours with Apukka and included pick up from the city centre. We did the snowmobile safari into the wilderness and Snow Train Northern Lights tours. The snowmobile tour was a good length, it gave you both adequate time to take turns in driving. It was quite bumpy sitting as a passenger for those that have any motion sickness issues. We were unlucky during our week stay in Rovaniemi that the northern lights did not appear once all week. The tour still takes place, be aware that the train moves slower than you can walk, it seemed to take forever. The team did a good job of keeping people entertained even though there was nothing to look at.

  We had a fantastic time with lunch. The kid's enjoyed most of the activities. Staff was friendly and easy communicate. Husky ride was amazing even a little bit short but great experience for us. I would recommend this company 👍

  We stayed at the Apukka resort itself, and for us this was a nice way to quickly get introduces to a variety of snow-fun. Yes, it is expensive, and I would not travel all the way to the resort just for this. It mainly caters to children, for adults this is only interesting if you have never been to the snow before. In our group there were children aged 4-8 who enjoyed it very much, and as parents you could also try out stuff without having to worry about the kids. Trying cross country skiing and snowshoeing without having to do a full two hour tour is nice enough with smaller children. The interaction with the huskies and reindeer was more than on our dedicated 'reindeer farm visit', so that was a good bonus. Emilia was our primary guide, and she was very very nice. However, all the other ones were also quick to help out and seemed to enjoy giving out information on Lappish life. The lunch was the lunch buffet in the restaurant, which is not super special, but absolutely a solid meal. My only negative was the fact that we spend quite a lot of money on this activity 'with lunch' and then got charged almost 5 euro for a single glass of apple juice. That was a bit of a let down.

  Very Disappointing & Overpriced - AVOID. Snow shoes and skis on flat ground are boring. Tobogganing was closed and there was only 1 snowmobile at a time. The huskies and reindeers were nice as was the lunch. Our kids had so much more snow and fun sledding for FREE at Angry Birds Park and NaavaCafe in Rovaniemi city centre. We would avoid this tour and look at other ones instead, the resort itself looked impressive. It feels like we were fooled paying so much for so little. It was the only let down of our otherwise amazing trip to Lapland.

  Activities were fun for kids as well as us adults (we were family of 4) and we had good time. Guides were friendly and managed all professionally and made maximum effort for us to enjoy all activities. Only negative thing was lunch, after 3 hours outside we were looking for tasty lunch and we got just soup and salad and bread (no main meal) which was disappointment and shame.

• Do not pay for snow and play if you are a guest of the hotel already even though the hotel will recommend it to make $

  Do not pay for snow and play if you are a guest of the hotel already. The 1st part of the package you already have access to as part of your accom. You can buy lunch, which is 2 hours after a huge buffet breakfast that you dont really need, the husky ride and a raindeer ride for the half the cost… The hotel will suggest it to rip you off.   Not good value for money! Not only this tour, but all others and the Apukka facility... are not worthy. They charge as a 7-star hotel, and it is just a glamping facility.. with not service at all and bad food. We would never recommend this place.

• The perfect trip for the whole family

  We came to Land and we were looking for a dream day trip to close all our corners and we found the trip of Apukka. After choosing a day that was comfortable for us to take a walk and review everything, in the morning a driver came to our hotel and picked us up to their complex. After we dressed up with the equipment they gave us, we went through a guide and started the trip. During the day we did snow skating with dogs, eagles, from the hill, we fed the ski dogs, fed horses and we did all sorts of interesting things like snow bikes for kids, experimenting on walking on snow with special shoes, we did an experiment of "like" catching eagles and probably other things that I already forgot that there was a lot. We also had a great buffet lunch. After the trip, we were taken back to the hotel. I highly recommend this trip to the whole family.

  Our family liked this tour very much! Amazing value for money and full of experience covering everything you need to try out in Lapland. We haven't stayed in Apukka resort, so they picked us up from the Rovaniemi city center. We started to enjoy the day from the very beginning when we arrived and saw such beautiful surroundings - frozen lake, finish traditional Sami house, horses on the territory and sunrise (at 10 in the morning as it is the North!))) We went to change and our activities started! First, we sled from the small mountain and it was fun as we didn't have a chance to sled anywhere else in Rovaniemi. When we tried out show shoes. After it, we went to ride on reindeer and huskies! Such a blast! We even managed to ride on reindeer twice. The husky ride is so fast and exciting as well. After that we had a lunch buffet and when our son was able to ride on a snowmobile. While he was having fun we were taught how to catch a reindeer in a wild. We also had some free time to slide again. I would advise it to everyone traveling to Rovaniemi as it is good value for money.
