  We booked the entire Duck for our group of 30 for a social outing and it was a nice bonus to get a discounted rate for a group. Our Aquaduck Captain Jerry and guide Tracey were fantastic - very knowledgeable about the local area and were happy to answer questions and kept us laughing and entertained the entire trip. Jerry was fantastic with the kids in the group - giving them each a turn to drive the Duck and Tracey had a certificate for each of them as well. As a Gold Coast local for over 25 years - I had never been on the Duck - but I very much enjoyed the outing and would happily recommend locals and visitors alike give it a try.

  It was nice. The driver and host were humorous. Danny was especially great. I was having a hard time catching my breath after walking to the pick up location and he let me board the bus early and even offered me his personal water bottle. I was very grateful. All in all was nice. They let the kids sit in the driver’s seat and I thought that was very cool and the kids seemed to enjoy it.

  We were running late for our 3:00 pm Aquaduck tour due to heavy traffic. We called ahead to inform them that we would arrive 5–10 minutes late and asked if they could wait. The customer service representative said they couldn’t promise anything but would pass the message on to the operator. We arrived at the meeting point at 3:06 pm, but the tour had already departed. As a result, we lost $290 and received no refund, even after contacting Tripadvisor twice. So, do not be even a minute late, as Aquaduck operates its tours with “scientific accuracy.” Unfortunately, this rigid approach comes with zero understanding for real-world situations.

  We had an amazing time on the Aquaduck. Big thanks to Tracy, Rozie, and Chris, they were friendly, professional, and fantastic with the kids. Fun, informative, and well organised. Highly recommend.

  Great experience especially for kids as they get to be ‘captains’ and drive the boat on the waterway.. our two guides Leigh and Olivia were excellent and very funny and friendly.
