Any living creature who hasn’t grown gills like fish, has this main worry before going underwater: "How do I breathe?" Being asked to put your face in the water and inhale can be scary. Luckily, at Aquafari you won’t have to. We will let you breathe naturally. Underwater! This eco-friendly underwater scooter features a bell-shaped glass container that is supplied with oxygen from a scuba-dive tank, which is attached to the front of the scooter. This tank supplies enough oxygen for the entire duration of the trip.

Minimum age requirement is 10 years old. Minimum height requirement is 4ft (1,2 mtr) and maximum weight limit of 275lbs (125 kg).
If any of these restrictions apply to you, a doctors consent letter is required to be allowed on the excursion.
If under the influence of alcohol or drugs, participation in this excursion will be denied.
If your departure flight is within 18 hours of your Aquafari trip.

Amazing Day in the water

5.00As soon as I knew I was visiting Curacao, I wanted to go on this adventure. Since it isn't offered through the cruise excursions, I booked directly with Aquafair. It was easy! After booking the excursion, I contacted them to inquire about transportation which they were able to arrange for an additional $45 and the pick up location was asking distance from the Pier Upon arrival: the location beside the water is very nice. Even if I weren't going on an excursion it is the type of ambiance I'd go to on any given day just to have a drink or two and be near the water. It's very clean and comfortable. I've have gone snorkeling in a lot of places but can honestly state I've never seen as many fish as I did on today's outing! The water was full of fish. Our diver and our photographer were both pleasant and professional. After the dive, I had lunch (some REALLY tasty fried fish) and a couple of drinks. I had a Pina colada and I DON'T drink those since I dislike coconut but it was halfway gone before I knew I'd been given the incorrect drink! My original choice was the cheesecake. It was good too BUT if you enjoy Pina coladas (amd getting caught in the rain.... bahahahaha, I just had to!) and even if like me, you don't, having one is a MUST. Everything about today's adventure was fabulous. I'd definitely recommend it, the drinks, and the food and will be back whenever I am in Curacao! My only tip - if you plan to pay with an American Express cc, make sure you have back up. The system wouldn't accept my card when I tried to use it to pay for lunch.

5.00Never try this before, I am glad to have this and my decision is definitely right, the entire tour is smooth and so much fun. Staffes and instruductors are nice and friendly, just being relax, and follow the instructor to explore the undersea world by the unique sea scooter

5.00What a wonderful day we had at Aquafari. Cozy reception. Relax on the terrace with a refreshing drink. After this it was time to experience for yourself what it is like to take a seat on the scooter underwater. After a clear explanation of how everything works, we went underwater under the guidance of 3 divers. What a wonderful experience. The divers take beautiful pictures. Definitely recommended to order the photos.

5.00This experience was incredible from the moment I arrived. Chardonnaey and X Garry were very welcoming while I waited and answered all the questions I had. Chris and Wiki were phenomenal divers and I knew I was in good hands. A very unique experience that I’d definitely recommend to other ocean lovers.

5.00We had a blast! It was a little bit of a mountain goat trek from the sign in desk to where you actually went into the scooters, but that just added character. Highly recommend. We saw a ton of beautiful fish and sea urchins. There is also a huge sea turtle who lives in the area. The guides were patient and made sure that we all had a great time. Pro tip: leave your phone in the provided locker and buy their pictures. They are much better than you could take on your phone and that way you be fully present in the experience. We are in our 60’s and it was one of the best vacation experiences we’ve ever done.
