Snorkel colourful fringing reefs, explore secluded bays and beaches, meet some marine and bird-life "friends" and learn about the Great Barrier Reef with our Master Reef Guides. Your hosts, Steph and Adam, have been exploring beautiful Magnetic Island for over 39 years, they love to share the stories, history and their connection with this island they call their home. Come as guests and leave as friends. This is transformational and personalised touring at it's best!

What To Expect
Our 5 hour Discovery Tour is a combination of snorkelling fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning all about beautiful Magnetic Island. Benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Personalised to suit our guests with small tour numbers, your amazing adventure starts with us. Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish "friends", and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline. Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you. Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

5.00Absolutely faultless tour! The two crew worked really hard to ensure everything was perfect, and share with us their knowledge of this amazing island and care for preserving its pristine beauty. Even the morning tea was well beyond expectations: delicious platters of fruit, cakes and biscuits, with hot drinks, on a deserted beach. We got home even more in love with this very special place. Thank you Aquascene!

5.00Every time we have family come to visit us on Maggie we do this trip with Aquascene and it is always brilliant. The guides are amazing, extremely knowledgeable and their ability to tailor the tour to any changes in weather conditions is magical. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough and I am already looking forward to our next one.

5.00This is one of the best tourism experiences I have ever been on - and I've done a lot! The best thing was the genuinely friendly staff who really cared about our experiences - and they loved listening to the us to gauge their success. The catering was first class. The snorkelling (and so close to Maggie) was out of this world. The small group (and we were at max!) meant we weren't waiting in queues, and everyone was very happy. Price is very reasonable. Timing is spot on. Don't tell anyone, because I'm coming back to do it all again. Thank you Andy, Thalia and Luke cheers Patrick Watt, Melbourne, Australia

5.00What a fantastic day trip, plenty of time to slowly enjoy the cruise soaking up the atmosphere, sea, boat wrecks,landscape, the history and the sun. Just enough time for paddle board and snorkelling opportunities Fish and bird sightings were plentiful. I expected biscuits and coffee for morning tea, instead we were treated to a platter of fruits, blueberry, banana and carrot cake and chocolates. 5 hours well spent, thanks Aquascene

4.00Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great and we couldn’t do the snorkelling part of the tour, however, the tour guides were fantastic and we still had a great time with lots to see and learn about and some water activities too.

5.00We had such an amazing experience with Aquascene on Magnetic Island - couldn’t recommend it more! The whole tour was incredible from start to finish. The staff were fantastic; friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the island, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The snorkelling was a huge highlight for us as well. We saw a turtle!!! The spots we visited were beautiful, with plenty to see, and everything was very well organised and relaxed. Overall, it was such a memorable experience and one of our favourite things we did on the island. We'd 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Magnetic Island! 🌊🐠✨
