Cassiano was a very friendly guide who knew his way around Kyoto by bike. We had beautifull weather, so he made some amazing pictures.

This was by far the best day we had in Kyoto. Peter was so friendly and helpful making sure the kids bikes and helmets were safe before departing. It was so nice to explore the quieter areas and ride through the rice fields. Peter organised for the children to feed the monkeys and made sure to stop for a sweet snack on the way home. He also snapped some amazing photos along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto!

I found this tour on a social media ad and booked based on previous reviews and the kid friendly tour option. I was glad I did!! We had a fantastic day. Me, my husband and two kids (3yrs and 5yrs) enjoyed our tour today with Ray. We booked a kids trailer for our two girls and they could sit back and relax while we did all the work. We stopped at a local kids playground, the bamboo forest, kimono forest, rode through rice fields and ended at the monkey forest. The ride was flat and easy, the pace was super relaxed and stops for rests, snacks (including the worlds best donut) and photos was great! Ray was fantastic sharing his knowledge of the area, culture and Japan in general as well as capturing many photos of our family throughout the day. We had the best day being guided around these popular locations! Many thanks to Ray!!

My wife, 9 year old son and I participated in this amazing bike tour earlier this month. Ray took us on an incredible route through Arashiyama and parts of Kyoto we would never have seen. It was a cruisy ride with excellent bikes and some ice cold water for our 30+ Celsius conditions. Ray took photos of us along the way - including with his very nifty drone. Ray had great local insights and was great company during the tour. For anyone looking for something personal and unique, I highly recommend this bike tour! Thanks once again Ray!

I can’t think of a better way to see the sites around Arashiyama than on this bike tour. From meandering the rice paddies to cycling down the Main Street - it was amazing. We had two younger kids with us but the way Ray worked with all members of the family was excellent. Local knowledge and the ease of not sticking to tight deadlines like a bus tour would have was well received. Highly recommend this tour to anybody.

We did the family bike tour. Our guide, Ray was really good with our kids and compassionate towards them when they fell a couple times. He was also very informative about Kyoto and spoke English. We all had a great time and it was the highlight of our Japan trip! We highly recommend this experience and would do it again if we had opportunity.

RAY was an amazing guide for our family bike tour around Kyoto. With 2 children (8 and 5) and 5 adults in tow, Ray skillfully led us through the streets of Kyoto, constantly keeping a watchful eye to ensure we were able to safely stay together. He provided interesting and engaging insights as he led us to a quaint playground for the kids, through the awe-inspiring bamboo forest, through fields of rice (where we had a rice cake snack, of course!), and to the fabulous Monkey Park. The children thoroughly enjoyed Ray who asked them questions to get them involved and provided each with a special book for stamps they gathered along our journey. Our Kyoto Bike Tours was definitely the highlight of our visit to Kyoto. Thank you, Ray, for a memory we will not forget…especially our last stop and the best donut I’ve ever eaten!
