What To Expect

We’ll depart from the city center and head south, cycling along the scenic coastal roads of Tromsøya. Along the way, we’ll pass through charming city streets, peaceful forest trails, and breathtaking waterfront paths, offering stunning views of the surrounding fjords and majestic mountains.

Kvaloya

From Tromsøya, we’ll continue our journey towards Kvaløya, Norway's fifth largest island, via the Sandnessund Bridge. Along the way, we’ll cycle past rugged coastlines, picturesque fjords, and towering mountains, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking Arctic scenery. The peaceful roads and fresh sea air make this stretch a truly unforgettable part of the journey. We can also visit the beautiful Håkøya bridge for photos. Depending on the group’s fitness level, we may visit local spots like Bryggejentene or Eide Handel for a cozy break.

Our Arctic Cycling tour with Michiel and Alex was a highlight of our Tromsø trip! The six-hour route through the surrounding islands was stunning, with the perfect mix of challenge and scenery. With only the two of us in the group, the experience felt personal and bespoke. Michiel and Alex were friendly, professional and full of local insight. We felt supported regardless of biking experience as Michiel was quick to help with questions or adjustments. We're also grateful to Alex for capturing the trip beautifully in photos. Unless you’re very fit, I'd recommended e-bike to enjoy the views without worrying about climbs. A truly memorable way to experience Norway’s landscapes — highly recommended!
