The Wildlife Centre is huge with very large areas for all the animals, including cliffs to climb on for mountain goats and a very large area including wetlands for the 2 moose. It is primarily for rescue animals who are well cared for.

Enjoyed the Wildlife Center and hot springs. It was a long day and thankful to have brought water. The description should mention to bring water.

Very nice excursion. The guide was kind and gave us a lot of information about animals. And the hot springs are a big WOW!

Hello. I would like to start by saying that our guide was very kind and tried her best. The problem with this tour is that they charge a very steep fee ( $400.00 for both my husband and I) for what is essentially nothing more than a zoo. We barely saw any wildlife as the both the lynx and fox were in hiding that day. Moreover, the organization should ensure that the guide is fluent in English and knowledgeable. While she may have had a wealth of knowledge, our guide struggled to express it as English was not her first language. We definitely didn't get what we paid for and neither will you. In the end, you don't need a guide here folks anymore than you need a guide through a zoo. Pay the $30 entrance fee and skip the tour. You won't regret it.

I was a little nervous because I live in California and I traveled by myself to the Yukon to visit my uncles. I am originally from Canada, but have never visited the Yukon before. I knew I'd want to get out and explore so I booked this excursion and I'm SO happy I did!!! They were prompt to pick me up at the Sternwheeler hotel where I stayed for two nights and both of the tour guides were fantastic. Both of their names start with an "M" and almost sound the same, can't for the life of me remember their names but they were incredible people with caring, funny, and knowledgeable personalities! I had SO much fun and the hot springs were absolutely incredible.
