Day Trip to the Iguazu Falls – Argentine side
Join me on an unforgettable day trip to the impressive Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side – one of South America’s most spectacular natural wonders.
Both sides – Brazilian and Argentine – are breathtakingly beautiful, but the best view of the famous Garganta del Diablo waterfall awaits you on the Argentine side. Here you stand right on the edge of the massive waterfall, which plunges from about 90 meters into the depths.
On about 8.7 kilometers of well-developed hiking trails you will discover the diverse beauty of the national park : tropical rainforest, imposing views and the pure power of water.
Experience nature at its most spectacular – up close, intense and unforgettable.
Wheelchair accessible
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Public transportation options are available nearby
Specialized infant seats are available
Transportation options are wheelchair accessible
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
So my tip: try to be there a few minutes before the park opens.
The morning temperatures are more pleasant for customers who are not used to the subtropical climate.
The park opens at 08:00 local time and closes at 16:00.
I therefore always recommend leaving early to avoid traffic jams.
Please note that no animals may be fed or touched!!!
After redeeming the tickets, after a few hundred meters you will arrive at the central train station, from where a train, natural gas-powered locomotive with open passenger cars, leaves the station every 15 minutes for the various hiking trails, three in total. Since the maximum speed is 7km/h, it is great for taking photos. and make films while driving, or just enjoy the breathtaking nature with its unique flora and fauna.
Trails such as Devil's Throat and Upper Trail are suitable even for those with walking aids or wheelchairs as the walkways are built flat across the upper course of the Iguacu River.
The lower trail includes around 180 steps and therefore requires a little more physical strength.
Light shoes with non-slip soles are recommended for the hikes.
Please note that my tours are not marathons, but serve to give the customer enough time to take in the whole thing so that they can also enjoy it.
If you are not planning a longer trip to Argentina, I advise you not to exchange a lot of money, since the Argentine peso has lost much of its value and is not accepted everywhere in Brazil.
Washrooms, toilets, bars, bistros and restaurants can be found at almost all stations.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Rodrigo is a super reliable tour guide and speaks fluent German, English, Spanish and Portuguese. The tour to the falls was great! Perfect management at the border crossing. I'd love to go again! Thank you so much!

It gets a bit wet and need to be able to walk long distance. But it is the most amazing view of nature. Surrounded with multiple species of butterflies. Saw some but not all different animals

We visited the falls of Iguaçu in 2 days, 1st day on the Brazilian side and 2nd side Argentine, an exceptional experience with a guide speaking French who accompanied us on these 2 days. We enjoyed this private accompaniment, at our own pace and we worried about nothing. Everything was included (entry to the parks, visits, customs to cross to Argentina...) I highly recommend it. Plus very reasonable price.

This was a most amazing day! The falls are indescribable and pictures do not do them justice. This is one of the "seven wonders of the natural world" for a reason. Seeing the falls were magical, but the way we saw them was spectacular. If there was ever a reason for a private guide, this is it. Ask for Everton as he was a grand tour guide. Everton is a local that has guided many for many years. Many workers at the falls knew Everton and it made it easy for us to get around. We decided to do the Brazilian side as well. It was Carnevale when we were there, so the lines at the border crossing we 1-2 hours long. With Everton, he had a driver pick us up at the airport, we drove to the parking lot of the park and walked across the border to Everton waiting for us. It took all of two minutes. Fantastic! Everton's knowledge and love of the park and the falls really added to a great day. He called the park "my office". What a lucky man!

This was our second tour with Rodrigo. An amazing experience. A white glove service from the start to finish. Very knowledgeable, experienced, a great sense of humor, deep knowledge of the history, geography, down to smallest details of both sides of these great falls.

Rodrigo was amazing. I'm so glad he was my guide. He spoke english like his first language. I was traveling alone and I felt safe and knew he could help me with anything. He went above and beyond and I will forever be grateful. I am glad I know him and can call him my friend. He has a good soul.
