Get to know Arles on a 2-hour walking tour of this historic French city. Maybe you have already heard about this place, as it is famous for its festival of photography, "Rencontres d'Arles", which takes place every year in summer.
But let's focus on discovering the historical center of this amazing city.
Arles has important remains of Roman times, and you will start your tour by discovering the exterior arena of Roman amphitheater, constructed in the 1st century. Then admire the Antique Theatre and the Arles Obelisk.
If you would like to see another place, simply let your guide know your wishes and your tour will be adjusted accordingly.
Keep in mind that Arles is also rich in museums, like Musée de la Camargue or Musée Réaltu, which you can visit on your own. Additionally, some of the buildings and cathedrals of Arles are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and are a wonder to behold.

Alexia is very knowledgeable about the town of Arles. The Roman Arena and theatre are the ones unforgettable. I triple enjoyed walk-about.

We were very disappointed with our tour. Nadia was lovely but her English was not strong. She was constantly searching for her words. In fairness, she would eventually find them, but this slowed everything down. The pace was very slow - we would have to say "OK, what's next?". It was slow and disorganized. I use tour guides all the time and have used Viator in the past. When you are paying over $500 you expect a professional tour. This did not meet our expectations. I will not use your service again.
