This circular coastal walk starts and finishes at beautiful Konnos beach at the northern tip of Cape Greko park. The standard route is 10 km long on the rocky coast. Cape Greko park is a small park between the bustling beach resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras. The itinerary goes by major attractions in the area including Agioi Anargyroi chapel (and adjacent cave), Kamara tou Koraka natural arch, Cape Greko Rock and Cape Greko Sea Caves Cove (known as Palathkia 'ie Palaces). Cape Greko park is a good destination also for birdwatchers, especially during spring migration. The waters are usually very calm on the east side. In the hot season sea turtles visit the area to feed. In older times the Mediterranean monk seal was also around - now a few individuals are spotted here sporadically.

Konnos Bay
Konnos beach is one of the most beautiful in the south east part of Cyprus as well as the whole island. Excellent place for swimming, hanging out and snorkeling. Many times sea turtles are spotted here. Depending on the duration package booked, we will either pause very briefly here or go for a dip.
Agioi Anargyroi Chapel
This is a small chapel right on the rugged coast towards the north east part of Cape Greko park. The style is reminiscent of Greek aegean islands rather than of Cyprus. There is a cave/sanctuary close to the modern chapel. A bit further on the coast towards the south one can find 'Kamara tou Koraka' natural arch. It is an interested place to visit, though now going on it is prohibited and can be dangerous.
Duration: 6 hours: Time is enough to do the walk and probably swimming and/or snorkelling

Duration: 8 hours: Enough time for the walk and possibly for swimming

Nice walks and fantastic swimming spots. Phivos is very knowledgeable about Cypriot myths and history (which I enjoyed discussing) as well as flora and fauna (I think I disappointed Phivos with my complete lack of knowledge here). After the walk we checked out some beautiful chapels and churches. A great way to see Cape Greko and surrounding area!
