Watch the sunset from the top of Arthur's Seat - Edinburgh's highest hill (251 meters). Get outside and enjoy nature on a scenic route to the summit, away from the crowds.
This hike is great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, natural scenery, photography, or exercise. You'll be able watch the sun go down behind Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town, and the mountains in the background. Enjoy views out to see and towards the Scottish Highlands on the horizon.
** Please arrive 10 mintutes early so we can begin the hike on time.

What To Expect
Arthur's Seat
Watch the sunset from the summit of Arthur's Seat. We take a scenic route up the hill, away from the crowds, and reach the top in time to watch the sunset. There is plenty of time to stope and take photos before heading back down into the city.

5.00We had a guided sunset tour at Arthur’s Chair with Marcus and it was the most amazing experience! Marcus is extremely knowledgeable of the area and made the experience so fun and enjoyable. He can accommodate the hike for multiple fitness levels. Your reward is the most beautiful views of the city! If you are looking for an experience that is that is an outdoor adventure in the middle of the city I would highly recommend this activity and Marcus as your guide!

5.00Marcus was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and ensured that the hike moved at a pace everyone was comfortable with. We saw a lot of wildlife including pheasants, rabbits, and an owl on the way up Arthur's Seat. While the weather we had for the hike was the only cloudy day of our entire trip, the hike was a great way to end our vacation. I'd highly recommend the hike even without the full sunset!
