What To Expect
California Lighthouse
The California Lighthouse, commonly referred to by locals as Faro, rises prominently on a limestone plateau at Hudishibana, near Arashi Beach and the Sasariwichi dunes on Aruba’s northwestern coast. It is recognized as the tallest structure on the island. The lighthouse takes its name from the British steamship S.S. California, which sank in 1891—more than two decades before the lighthouse was constructed between 1914 and 1916. Its construction served as a safeguard to prevent similar maritime accidents. In May 2016, the lighthouse was fully restored in honor of its 100th anniversary.
Alto Vista Chapel
Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel that stands on the hills above the north shore of Aruba. The present chapel was completed in 1952 and is located on the exact same location as the original chapel, which was built by the Venezuelan missionary in 1750.

5.00Had such a great time on this tour we saw a lot of the island and learn learned about its history. The tour guide was awesome and very informative. He felt like family. The bus was very nice clean and air-conditioned would definitely recommend this to Tour.

5.00We were in Aruba for a short time and this packed in many things that are on the Aruba welcome movie. Our guide was very informative about Aruba culture and history. There is some climbing stairs if you want the full experience.

5.00The aloe factory was interesting, as was the cutting demonstrations. Scenery on the trip beautiful in a desert sort of way. The climb up the Rock formations is difficult and not for the weak of heart or will. Our guide provided excellent information about that side of the island.
