Your hike will take place in a small-group of up to 10 people with an easy, intermediate or advanced route depending on the group's skill level.

This is a very enjoyable excursion. The guide is extremely knowledgeable about Aruba's history, economic & political issues and the issues of tourism on a small island, It adds an interesting element to approx. 10km/3 hr walk through the cactus countryside and more . An excellent alternative to all day at the beach - but still leaves you plenty of beach time after the walk - and I can recommend this tour to get a feel of the real Aruba. pick up/drop off is included at the pier or hotel .

What To Expect

Begin the tour at approximately 8:30am with pickup from your Aruba hotel or a designated meeting point walking distance from the Aruba Cruise Terminal if you are arriving by cruise ship. Your hiking tour through the Aruban countryside will depart from Borocana at 9am. Your friendly local guide will cater your hike to the interests and skill level of your group. Water will be supplied during the hike. Explore and experience the true Aruba as your guide shares geological and historical information about the locations. There will be plenty of photo opportunities and you will be able to purchase souvenirs or cold drinks at the conclusion of your 3.5-hour hike. The tour ends with drop-off at your Aruba hotel or cruise port. If it is decided the hike will take place at the Arikok National park, there will be an entrance fee of approx.US$11 to be paid in cash at the entrance of the park.
