First I contacted via whatsapp and received very good service. Then we set the date and I paid half the price. On the week of the trail they contacted us to make a meeting to better know the itinerary and to check our equipment, who made the meeting with us was Jorge who would also be our guide on the day. Very friendly, professional and fun person. I ended up needing a hat and another booth and my handcuffs husband, they borrowed it all. On the day we were picked up at the hotel at the agreed time as well as the rest of the group. At the base we receive a bag of trail food (well-thought for altitude things that should give energy and be fast digestible, i.e. goodies!), water and walking sticks. We started the ascension which is not difficult but by altitude ends up being challenging, with the body telling us not to continue Jorge was essential to animate us, remind us to walk and breathe the right way and check how we were feeling. In case of any emergency he had radio communication. The whole group reached the summit, tired yes, but accomplished! I highly recommend Quima, initial care, follow-up and execution score 10, plus fair price.

  My son and I really enjoyed our hike up Cerro Toco with Jorge and we felt a sense of accomplishment! Jorge reached out a few days before and we met up so he could review our gear to make sure we had proper clothing and footwear, to let us know what to expect, what to bring in our packs and to go over safety and other details. We didn't have windbreakers, so he brought one for each of us just in case we needed them, but the weather ended up being very nice. We took it slow hiking up and the views at the top were spectacular!

  Excellent excursion. The very friendly Fran picked us up from the hotel. It takes 1 hour by car to reach the start of the hike. Fran puts us at ease with altitude and teaches us to breathe well. And at the end, the reward and the summit of the volcano. Thank you again.

  Had an amazing hike up Cerro Toco with Jorge and Karla. We were a small group of just three hikers plus the two guides, which made the whole experience feel very personal. They took great care to keep everyone together, checked in regularly, and made sure we felt safe the entire time. Weather conditions were partly kinda rough but Jorge and Karla were constantly well aware of the situation and I always felt well looked after and safe — highly recommended.

  Without a doubt, one of the best experiences of life. The staff is very prepared and provides support before the activity going to the lodging to check if the clothes and footwear are suitable, this was a big difference. During the rise of the volcano the rhythm is respected and the view from above is sensational. It was me and my fiancée. We recommend!

  We climbed Cerro Toco with Jorge and Karla in January 2026. We had an amazing experience. They are both professional guides and had all the equipment/safety gears we needed. They also provided a very comprehensive brief the day before which was helpful. I felt safe at all times and they also provided good advice/were extra careful when some of us felt the altitude and started being a bit dizzy. It should also be mentioned that they both bring a very good and positive energy, from the car ride with epic music to the top of the mountain where they did a little ceremony. Could have not hoped for a better way to start the new year. Thanks to both :)

  The experience is a great one. The path of ascent is not too long and harsh, but the altitude may be an issue to many people. Yet, the guide had made very good pacing and picked the best route to help me succeed in making the successful summit. The panaromic view at the summit is gorgeous and worths the workout to climb. The path can be done self-guided, but the help of a guide may always be recommended for those who lacks experience and confidence at high altitude.
