You’ll say wow a lot to all the history of the town. Guides are highly educated and great story tellers!

My husband and I did this tour when we were visiting the area and Tad was our tour guide. We booked the "classic" tour and it took about 2 hours. Tad provided us a brief history of the area and vivid anecdotes of murder and mayhem. He's a good story teller and keeps your interest peaked. He walked really slow, whether it was for our benefit or his or to just draw out the tour, who knows. Did we experience anything supernatural weird during the tour? No. However, after the tour, I looked back at some photos and I believe I see a figure at the top of the Jackson building. I took 4 photos of the building and in each photo it is posed slightly differently, like it was walking. After doing a little research, no one (alive) is supposed to have access to the top of the building. I also looked at other photos online and in these reviews, taken from the same angle, and I don't see whatever this is. So unless this is some other object entirely...gasp, ghosts are real! Someone else said in their review something about the homeless population. I did notice a few people in the park during the day before the tour, but not on our tour. At no time did I ever feel I was in an unsafe situation, so don't let that deter you.

It was an interesting experience. The tour guide was informative and entertaining. I liked speculating the paranormal elements of historical Asheville.

He was the best story teller and was friendly at the same time. The tour was just about the right amount of time and left us in spooky and good feeling state.

The guide, Tadd, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, the length of the tour and walking was just right, and I learned plenty about the history of Asheville, even as a local!

Nice spooky stories and history of Asheville. The guides brought umbrellas I’m not sure if that was to fight off any spirits or because they thought it might rain. . .. although I don’t think rain was in the forecast. Either way it made me feel safer. This was a good time.

The tour was easy to book and find the meeting point. It was exactly an hour and a half and brought us back to our meeting point. Our guide Tadd was so entertaining and animated, he really made the experience so fun. The history knowledge was fascinating and the ghost stories were spooky. We had a wonderful time!! Would absolutely recommend.

Not going to live…I found this tour rather boring. Not sure if it was the guide or the tour itself. I am a huge true crime/murder mystery fan and have done numerous of these kind of tours in different cities. Found this one to be informative but dull.
