This two hour round trip (~one hour on the water ) is our most popular trip, and has the longest season, early May to late September. Your adventure begins with a 10 minute float followed by Class II rapids. Class II is an excellent introduction to white water as it offers a mix of splashy thrills, and calm floats.

Suitable for ages 5 and up.

Late and No Show Policy - Please double check the date, time and pick up location on your confirmation. Our primary pick up location is the RV Parking Lot and scheduled departure times are based on this location. Out of respect for other guests, we ask that all participants arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. If you have chosen a pick up location other than the RV Parking Lot, please note the pick up time for your location. There will be no refund provided if you arrive after departure time or do not show for the date and time of your scheduled trip.

What To Expect

Raft down what explorer David Thompson and countless fur traders canoed up. It's more fun this way! Introductory Class II rapids will provide fun splashes, and the Athabasca Valley will provide splendid vistas to keep you thoroughly entertained during your hour on the Athabasca River.

Really enjoyed this experience with this company. They were very professional, great fun but most importantly very safe. We had a great time with the staff and fellow passengers on the raft. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this activity with this company.

This was a stunningly beautiful rafting trip. The rapids were just right in terms of being fun without being scary. Our guide, Coleman, was awesome and the whole trip was easy and wonderful.

What a wonderful experience with my two adult children. Joe and Charles was amazing throughout the trip. Brilliant bus driving and photographic from Joe and Charles knowledgeable and made me feel safe on the raft. Wonderful memories.

Great rafting adventure for first time rafters. MJ was outstanding and looked after us all the way - thanks to Dave for all his work too. Great views, some splashing and lots of laughs had by all. Highly recommend!

Wow, never crafted before and these guys just made it easy. From arriving at the pick up point nothing was a problem. Helpful, pleasant and friendly. Jesse was our guide and very knowledgeable on the local area as we made our way down river. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely go rafting again as this was such a positive experience

A big thank you to MJ - a fantastically skilled and knowledgeable guide, she really made our ride enjoyable and safe. A big thanks also to Dave who coordinated the driving, drop off, pick up and of course the awesome photos. This was our first time rafting and the team made this super enjoyable and something we would recommend. A great experience. Even the swim in the glacial water afterwards. Xx

Brilliant experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were excellent - Molly was our guide - and we felt safe the whole time. Great group of people on our raft too. We were at the front, loads of fun and we got soaked! We even saw some elk in the river. Highly recommended.
