Enter the Acropolis of Athens and Acropolis Museum hassle free with a pre-booked ticket sent to your phone.
Visit the Acropolis, perhaps Greece's most important landmark and one of the world's most-visited sites, and marvel at the UNESCO-listed Parthenon Temple. Stroll around the ancient ruins at your own pace and take as much time as you need. Walk into the Theater of Dionysus and then, see the UNESCO-listed Parthenon Temple, which is dedicated to Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war. Visit the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
After exploring the ruins, visit the Acropolis Museum which contains some of the important works of contemporary architecture and priceless findings from the Acropolis monuments. Marvel at the main attractions such as votives, artifacts of everyday life, statues from the archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the majestic Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments, and the frieze.

The self guided tour was great to see the exhibits at my own pace. I was happy to skip some of the areas that didn't interest me as much as others.

My son and i, loved the Acropolis, we've been wanted to visit for a while and the Acropolis museum was amazing. It is a self guided tour which we preferred.

Museum was closed day we were there but the Acropolis is a def. must see. Lots of people make for harder photos but still quite the site and such an iconic place that everyone needs to see at least once. Our hotel also had an amazing view of it lit up at night.

The acropolis portion was great. The museum part was not so great. The audio guide you get on your phone was provided by key tours not the museum. It would explain a piece, go to the next without telling you where to go or how to get there. Very frustrating.

We loved both the Acropolis and the museum but were shocked at the mark up on the tickets by both Viator and that this was on TripAdvisor. The Acropolis is a 20 Euro value and museum about 15 Euro. We ended up paying about 53 Euro per person. The audio guide wasn’t worth the extra fee as the commentary was too long-winded for such a crowded site. I would go directly to the site websites. Personally I am now suspicious of any TripAdvisor rec. btw “combo” does not mean you get into the Agora too. That’s another 10 Euros.

We were able to skip the long entrance lines at the Acropolis and the museum. Our ticket also gave us access to the excavation site under the museum.

Traffic out of the cruise port was crazy! We were an hour late getting to our slotted time to enter the acropolis, yet they honored our ticket. Having the eticket saved standing in a very long line in the sun to purchase a ticket. The Acropolis Museum is jam packed with history. It would take a good year to digest snd appreciate all that there is to see. Be sure to check out the outside excavation that was unearthed as they built the Museum. Very interesting!!

We're only giving this a poor review because we were running a day late and the ticket office couldn't reissue the tickets. Otherwise the Acropolis was magnificent and we found the handicap lift with no problem. The beautiful Museum was an easy walk downhill and was just stunning both in design and contents. Do not skip either on your Athens trip.

To see but it's quite quick, to do very early, the opening is at 8 a.m. after 10 a.m. there are too many people. Best done with a guide because there are very few explanations
