  Theodore was great!!! He gave us a nice overview of the city, central market, and arranged for a guide. to take us throught the Acropolis. And made great food recommendations too!

  As a frequent traveler this was a private tour that I can easily say was among the best in my life. Our guide and leader, Theodore, was not only prompt, professional and so knowledgeable..he was also a wonderful ambassador for the people and country of Greece. His warmth radiated and my family felt completely cared for and attended to with his ongoing hospitality and attention! He gave us undivided attention and the details of what he showed us are too numerous to mention in a review like this. I can say that you would be foolish to use any other tour company if you decide to visit this amazing and welcoming cradle of western civilization called Greece. • AMAZING! JUST AMAZING!

  Oh. My. God. I took 2 tours with this company, and both of them amazed me. The first one was the Athens tour, and the other was the Delphi + Meteora package. The owner of the company and our driver, Theodore, was exceptional. He took us to delicious restaurants, and even had the dessert place next door to one of them bring us Lokumades while we were sitting at our table at a different restaurant. While we were on the ride, he told us all about Greek mythology and traditions. Did you know that cypris trees are called that because a kid (Kyparisso) loved his pet deer so much that when he accidentally killed it, he cried himself into a tree? The tour of Athens was supposed to just be a normal tour, but he recommended his friend, a licensed guide, to have us tour the Acropolis. He took us all around the amazing buildings, then gave us a speedy but incredible tour of the Acropolis Museum. After we were finished with that, Theo took us on an in-depth tour of the stunning city of Athens. He took us to the almost hypnotising changing of the guards, then to the various sites of Athens. This next tour was so amazing that it could have been turned into a Greek myth: During our Delphi + Meteora tour, his car sadly broke down... BUT NOT TO WORRY!! This happened during our dinner (that he reserved for us, which was delicious by the way), and not only did he arrange for a different driver to continue the tour the next day, but he even called a cab and told him to go inside the restaurant to bring us to our hotel. The process was so smooth that the only thing we had to worry about was him and his car who were 200+ miles away. We were sad to see him go, but the driver who replaced him was almost as good. He woke up at 3 A.M to get to Meteora and bring us to the jaw-dropping monasteries and nunaries on the cliffs. We barely finished our 1st monastery (out of three) when a pleasant surprise awaited us at the parking lot. Theo had fixed his car and made it back! Overall, these 2 journeys where easaily my favorite of our travels to Greece. I HIGHLY recommend Theodore and Exceptional Tours Greece.

  What a wonderful time we had with Exceptional Tours Greece!! Great Value too!! Theodore was AWESOME!! Our family of 14 came to Greece from the USA to visit relatives and do some sightseeing. We needed transportation and thought using multiple cabs would be expensive and difficult to coordinate. Then we found Exceptional Tours Greece! They picked us up from the train station and took us to our hotel in one Tour Bus! It was the most convenient thing possible! And way cheaper than using cabs. The Tour was exceptionally well done! I highly recommend it! Then they also took us on other days to the Ferry and nights to restaurants and wherever we needed to go. They were courteous and prompt and made something that would be impossible, possible!! The last day they picked us up from our hotel and took us to the airport. They made our trip worry free and most memorable!! Our Daughter is using Exceptional Tours Greece this summer in June, because of such wonderful and trustworthy service! I highly recommend this fine company!

  Everything about our day tour was excellent--easy, timely, informative, comfortable; and our guide was able to accommodate a late schedule change so we avoided going on a day of heavy rain. My partner and I would definitely use Exceptional Tours Greece again, possibly for a multi-day tour this time.

  We booked a full day, private Athens tour and it exceeded our expectations. All of the main Athens attractions were included, the itinerary was well organized and flexible when needed. The Mercedes-Benz van was very comfortable, ideal for a the long day of sightseeing. Our guide was very knowledgeable with a deep understanding of Greek history, which he conveyed in a very engaging manner. He was very patient, answered all questions in detail and communicated with excellent English skills. Driving throughout the day was very professional, it provided an overall sense of safety. For the Acropolis Tour, including the Acropolis Museum, he arranged a special guide with extensive knowledge and attention to detail, which added to be positive experience. This was included in the package. Highly recommended for anybody looking for a high-quality, informative and comfortable way to experience Athens.

  Had a delightful time with Theodore on our tour of Delphi. We especially appreciated his flexibility on the tour. We were not rushed or on a time table like with many bus tours. It was nice not to have to show up at stops with 50 other people. He provided an excellent background on the sites visited and on Greek mythology. He was also great at answering our many random questions about Greece and life in Greece.

  This is a premium tour without the premium price tag. We were a group of 17 and without a doubt one of the best tours we have experienced. Communication is excellent, timely and accurate. This company did everything they could to make our experience easy and memorable. The driver Val, a great driver, was happy to answer all questions and spoke English very well. He knows all the ins and outs of the city and the best way to keep everything flowing perfectly. We loved everything about Athens and our private tour. Whether your group is big or small, choose this tour!

  Our driver John was excellent in every regard. He prepped us before each stop with appropriate history facts and tips for efficiently spending our time. He is passionate about Athens and a pleasure to spend a day with. He is also flexible to meet our needs and customize our trip. I would highly recommend this company for a private tour.
