What To Expect
Acropolis
We will enter the site through the Propylaea, which literally means “gateway”. While on the Acropolis, you’ll be able to visit such world-renowned sites as the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheion with its famous supporting columns in the shape of draped maidens (the caryatids), and finally, one of the most famous temples in human history, the Parthenon itself.
Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus, is a former colossal temple at the centre of the Greek capital, Athens. It was dedicated to "Olympian" Zeus, a name originating from his position as head of the Olympian gods.

5.00We took 3 trips. Overall, the tour is an outstanding one & would recommend this tour based on our experience First one was a transport from Athens to Piraeus. The driver, Dasos, was very helpful, but we find that he is very knowledgeable on the history of the landmarks as well as the highlights of the areas between Athens and Piraeus that we passed through, like the Olimpiakos Stadium & the Temple of Zeus. This experience drives us to book for a full day tour. The moment we came back from our cruise, we book a tour & had Lambros as our guide. This time, we are treated with a very unique itinerary that we never got from large group tours. The day started off with a spectacular view of Athens from Lycabettus Hill, then going through the highlights of the magnificent city of Athens like The Runner Statue, National Historical Museum, Academy of Athens, Temple of Zeus, Roman Agora, & scenic walk around Adrianou. Furthermore, Lambross timed our trip so perfectly that we can watch the changing of the guard, right before we head off to Acropolis, then head off to Saronic Gulf for lunch, & finally close off with a trip to Panathinaikos FC store to buy jersey for our friend back home. Given that our flight is late at night on the following day, Lambross offerred us to go to Temple of Poseidon through the Greece Riviera, which has a stunning view of the Mediterranean. On our hour long trip to Temple of Poseidon, Lambross was able to entertain our family with his knowledge of Greek Mythology, then close off with a timely arrival for to the airport to catch our flight.
