This tour takes you off the beaten track to the neighbourhood of Pantrati. The tour starts near the Panathenaic Stadium and you are treated to real Greek coffee, delectable delights, a real Greek mamma dinner with wine and desserts, and digestive at other venues. Niko or Nikolas our guide has a very thorough knowledge not only of history but the neighborhood and what makes Greek cuisine special. The groups are limited to smaller groups which makes it an intimate experience. Highly recommend.

The food tour in Pagrati was a fantastic experience! This hidden gem of a neighborhood offered delicious homemade Greek dishes, but what really made it special was Dimitri, our guide. Not only did he share insider stories about the area, but he also brought his passion as an artist to life, highlighting the typical Greek architecture around us. We even exchanged food stories from our travels, making it a truly personal and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing day discovering an alternative, more 'real' side of Athens. I booked this tour in order to experience something different from the busy city center, and to eat a lot of Greek food! I got exactly what I expected. Delicious food (and lots of it), a delightful guide showing us around as if we were long time friends, and a lovely stroll in an Athenian neighborhood where our group were the only tourists. This was an exceptional tour!

This was a very enjoyable excursion. Niko was an outstanding guide who grew up in the neighborhood we visited. The stops were carefully chosen, and led to an excellent learning experience about Greek life. I would recommend this highly.

I loved the walk around this neighborhood After spending a day around the sites in the touristic centre, I wanted to get the vibe of an actual local neighbourhood so this tour was perfect I enjoyed the views and the stadium plus every local establishment we visited, was special! The cute outdoor cafe, the bakery, the tree nestled taverna ...and it goes on Loved it The guides have really cool friendly personalities with engaging storytelling We got to meet other travellers and make new friends also so overall a very fun afternoon

We enjoyed every minute of our food tour. We got a glimpse of the real Athens … outside of the touristic part. Lovely authentic food and an amazing guide who is knowledgeable. I always enjoy learning something new. We even got some great advice for places to visit. I would recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in authentic experiences.

This was a great experience exploring an off the beaten path neighbourhood in the center of Athens. I was traveling solo and met some cool people in this tour, with whom we ended up hanging out later that night. The tour itself was well organised, Dimitri our guide was informative and made sure everyone in the group was entertained. Best off all though were the local venues we were taken, the foods we tasted, especially for dinner and the vibe of the tour which felt like hanging out with an old friend. Everything was excellent, and thanks again Dimitri for this great tour.

I decided to book this tour in order to see a more local side of Athens and taste Greek food in authentic eateries where Athenians hang out. That's exactly what I got. Dimitri, our guide, took us at a charming neighbourhood literally just a few blocks away from the more touristy city center. The foods we ate were delicious, especially the stop at the taverna where we tasted home-cooked 'grandmother' style traditional dishes. There was also a lot of context given by Dimitri, about the neighbourhood and it's history. This was an evening well spent
