Acropolis

Temple of Olympian Zeus

At this stop, you’ll see the magnificent remains of the Temple of Olympian Zeus, once one of the largest temples in the ancient world. Dedicated to Zeus, the king of the gods, the temple originally featured over 100 towering Corinthian columns, showcasing the scale and ambition of ancient Athens. Although only a few columns remain today, their size and elegance still give a powerful sense of the monument’s original grandeur.
