This is a very enjoyable trip. Surprised we went as deep but saw beautiful fish. The shipwrecks seemed to have the bigger schools.

We joined the Atlantis Submarine tour from Kona Beach and had a great experience. The submarine took us 107 feet underwater, where we saw two shipwrecks and a variety of colorful fish up close. It’s not every day you get the chance to go more than 100 feet below the ocean’s surface, and the ride was smooth and well-guided. A unique and memorable adventure—highly recommended!

Good experience. Went down to the depth of 100 feet. Some colorful fish. Observed 2 ship wrecks. We saw one small shark but mainly local Hawaiian fish at this depth and this reef.

We really enjoyed this experience! Very unique. As you would expect, there were a lot of kids, which got noisy, but that was ok as they were having a great time! Parking was a little difficult since there was a market going on in the hotel but that may have been just when we arrived at 10:30 am since the lot had several open spaces as we were leaving. We saw a lot of fish and the coral reef. The crew did a great job explaining everything and made it enjoyable and educational.

I like to snorkel, but my husband does not. Seeing fish through the comfort of a submarine window was our compromise. The staff was so knowledgeable and gave lots of information about each kind of fish and coral we were looking at. It was beautiful, and we were extra blessed to see several sharks and bottle-nosed dolphins that day in addition to a whole array of smaller fish and schools of fish. I was surprised when friends said they would be nervous knowing they were deep under water. We could look at our depth measurement at any time. However, at no time did we feel at all uncomfortable. The air was fresh, and we felt very safe throughout our entire exciting adventure. We both highly recommend the Atlantis Submarine. It was our favorite thing we did in Hawaii!

It was very nice, I was a bit nervous because I consider myself a bit claustrophobic but I must say it was a very smooth ride, the crew was very welcoming since the checking all the way to the submarine. I had a good time, we were able to see the fish it was very exciting, actually we saw tons of fish. Super nice experience, since I don’t do snorkeling this was very nice.
