The submarine ride was excellent and I would definitely recommend it. The one negative was the guide Cliff who was not good at all. He is a poor speaker who said “like”, “actually” or “technically” every other word in his narrative. Would have been an amazing experience with a better guide.

It was fun to go underwater in a submarine that actually moved around the ocean. Unfortunately, from there the experience was lacking. There were not many fish to see other than little ones. But the biggest problems was the speaker system (or tour guide) that was so hard to hear that we didn’t really hear much at all. Especially when the sub power unit came on the move the sub, the noise it made was so loud and distracting that you could not hear the speaker at all. Besides a few fish, we did see some wrecked boats and other wrecks on the bottom. So, mostly, disappointing.

The front desk is obviously racist. When I told her that the description is not clear. We waited at the hotel door for 10 mins while she sent out the tour without us, she was implying that Asian ppl cannot understand English while I was born in the US. Really bad attitude and communication.

I don't scuba or snorkel... so this experience was wonderful for me. Went to a depth of 107 feet, saw lots of marine life and two ship wrecks. Staff was excellent, felt very comfortable and viewing from inside the sub was better than I hoped. Overall it was a great experience.

This was a great time! We have never done a submarine tour before but this was very nice and clean! The narration was great at letting you know what you were seeing and where to look. It was amazing at how brilliant and colorful everything was 110 ft below the surface. Yes 110 feet!!!

It was a wonderful experience to be 100 feet under the water, we even hit the ocean floor. Seen a wreck and lots of colorful fish and as we came up we saw some dolphins under the water. The skipper was explaining the underwater environment while underneath the sea.

Really good activity to start with if it’s your first time on the Big Island. There was definitely a good number of people on this tour, but you definitely don’t feel it and it didn’t feel claustrophobic as well. Once you are inside and down in the water, you are definitely able to see schools of fish and other cool things. Staff was incredibly friendly and informational too.

It's underwater. Visibility in water can be limited. Very unique experience. This is our second time with the Atlantis. First time we went to Maui - water was clearer there. Overall a rememberable, unique experience.

Only reason I don’t rate 5 stars is the high price . I did almost all the Atlantis tours it is something you do once and done. It’s neat to go 100 feet in the water but the visibility isn’t that great . If you never been on submarine do it. The one in Kona and Waikiki had shipwrecks and aircraft in the dive site
