What To Expect

Le Chateau De Cognac

In this 1.15-hour tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Château de Cognac, a historic monument and Maison de Cognac. With your guide, you will learn about the history of France and to become familiar with the elaboration of the cognac Baron Otard through the discovery of the authentic cellars inside the Château. Finally, at the end of the visit, you will enjoy a tasting including two cognac: VSOP and the prestigious XO Gold

The history of the chateau and the tour of the chateau. I most enjoyed the lovely aromas of the cognac, as they changed from building to building. The beautiful taste of the cognac was memorable. A most enjoyable, interesting and memorable tour.

You won't see the classic "distillery" but a real castle full of history. Kings and other famous figures dwelled the place, and every room has something to tell. Cognac was superb,of course.

We had an exceptional experience with our guide Silvie, who turned what could have been a bad experience into a memorable one. Silvie was very knowledgeable about the rich history of the house, the region, and of cognac. We would recommend a visit!
