This tour combines the very best of Auckland city in the morning, with the best of Auckland nature in the afternoon. The Auckland City tour is an easy morning introduction to the diverse city of Auckland. The tour has plenty of photo opportunities and includes views from Mount Victoria in Devonport, which are not to be missed!
The afternoon nature tour is a great introduction to New Zealand's nature and visits some of the stunning rainforest scenery, as well as the glorious Piha Beach. Easy walking tracks and dramatic coastlines are only a short drive from Auckland's city centre. Our experienced guides and small group size means you will be well looked after. In the afternoon we also include a New Zealand style afternoon tea including biscuits/cookies and tea, coffee or juice.

5.00This was a great all day tour. It was my first day in Auckland and morning was a great introduction into my surroundings. A stop for a famous Auckland pie for lunch (not included) and we went for a guided hike through an easy trail through the jungle. Finished off at the beautiful Piha Beach and a tea and cookies picnic. It was a day to remember.

5.00I really can recommend this tour. In the morning you see the best spots of Auckland. Guide Wayne was very funny and gave good insights about Auckland. The highlight is the afternoon tour where you visit a rainforest and Piha beach. Guide Annie had an outstanding knowledge about the flora and fauna in the rainforest. Visiting Piha beach is an absolut must if you are in Auckland. So all in all it was a perfect day to see the best of Auckland and surrounding.

5.00My husband and I really enjoyed our tour, The Afternoon Wilderness Experience, with a great guide and driver, and we got to see Auckland sights that we wouldn't have otherwise. We went to the Arataki Visitor Center and took a terrific walk through a rainforest where we saw beautiful ferns and huge kauri trees, as well as some beautiful birds. Then we went to Piha Beach facing the Tasman Sea which was also great to see. It was a light, easy afternoon, led by very knowledgeable guides. It was about a 5 hour tour with pick up and drop off at our hotel.

5.00We can’t recommend this tour highly enough for those who are curious about Auckland and the natural beauty at its back door. Our two tour guides made this a very memorable day: one took us on an urban safari which made us fall in love with the beauty and diversity of Auckland! In the afternoon we stopped at the best country bakery for lunch and headed west to explore the majestic rainforest (you must see an old Kauri tree!) and to the black sands of Piha Beach. Afternoon tea in the dunes was such a treat before heading back to the city.

5.00The tour is great way to see New Zealand. Love that we saw the city, rainforest and beach all in one day. My favorite was the beach, amazing landscape with shimmering sand. The tour guides are so kind and helpful and we even had some honey and refreshments served.
