5.00Excellent tour for those a little short on time. I had the tour to myself. Sam the driver was really friendly and tought me a lot about Auckland and New Zealand in general. Tour stops at interesting places and gives you a good grounding of the Auckland geography. Tour was 3 hours and covers a lot in that time. Being a 1 to 1 was a bonus.

5.00Sam is a very experienced tour guide and he provided very detailed answers to questions from our small group. His tour was very comprehensive and we felt we saw many important sights in a half day tour that we might not have seen otherwise, especially since most sights on the tour were outside the city.

1.00We were extremely disappointed in this tour. Our driver, David, was Korean and could not communicate in English very well. We were hoping to learn about Auckland from the driver as well as information about each of the stops advertised with this booking. Instead, he played an audio recording at each stop. We were unable to ask David questions. We were way overcharged for what we got. I went back to the Viator page for this booking and it is offered in English and 2 more languages. This is false advertising especially if you have someone who can’t speak the language.

5.00Sang was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive to our questions. His car was comfortable and he drove safely. He was respectful of Maori heritage and culture. He paced our tour well in terms of pausing as needed while going up hilly areas.
