If you have little time, this was a very pleasant 3 hour tour. I liked the locations Sam showed us. I enjoyed the mild physical exertion of climbing hills for fantastic views, fresh air. Comfortable car with 4 other people I didn't know. It was perfectly paced, though I would have spent more time in the Winter Garden. The weather was nice, quite windy, but sunny and clear.

Sam our tour guide was wonderful! He shared so many interesting facts about Auckland and made the excursion so enjoyable! Unfortunately we were unable to go to the Cathedral at the end of the tour as we were told it was closed, but we sure enjoyed the other sites. Sam was punctual, courtesy, and very well prepared to show us a fantastic time.

Should have wrote this sooner, but we did this tour with our toddler in December 2025 just after we landed. It was our first time in New Zealand and this was a great first tour of the city with good insights from our tour guide on the history. We loved the pace and variety on this tour, our driver was on time and very personable.

I had only one day in Auckland. So I wanted to have an executive overview tour. This met the objective and I learned a lot from Sam about Auckland.

A super tour of Aukland with Sam who provided so much information about the various points of interest we stopped st. Comfortable van and very enjoyable conversation. Sam answered allot our questions and added some of his personal tidbits about each stop. One point- at Mount Eden, strenuous climb to lookout. As seniors, my wife and I opted not to go all the way to the top. Fairly strenuous.
