Note: I actually took this bus in Jan 2025, but TA only goes as far as Feb 2025. When the bus arrived at the designated stop near the Sky Tower, we all got ready to get on board the bus. I was first in line. We boarded at the front of the bus. Since I didn't see any passenger trying to get off the bus and the driver has told us otherwise, I stepped inside to find a seat. I was already in the middle of the bus when some passengers coming from the top portion of the bus (it was a double-decker) started coming down to get off. This is when the driver just started yelling at us in a very rude way to let the other passengers get off first! There was no sign at the door or anywhere and like I said, he didn't tell us to wait. Plus like I've stated before, I didn't see anyone coming off the bus! He was an old driver probably in his sixties so I would assume that he's been driving for this company for quite some time now. But, he doesn't seem to realize that he wouldn't have a job if not for the tourists like us. Most concerning to me was the fact that they don't seem to have enough buses. I had to wait for a third bus to arrive on my way back because the other two buses were already full. I've also seen a lot of people on the succeeding stops trying to get on but couldn't because the bus was already full. And this happened during a rainy day and around 5:00 PM when they only have few buses left on the road. It was a hop-on, hop-off bus. But I was only able to get off at one station because of their lack of buses.

The staff were approachable, helpful & knowledgeable. Lovely tour & good information. Wasn’t to crowed but it had a steady flow of people / customers.

Great way to see Auckland, be sure to allow time for both routes and to climb to the top at the park on the blue route. We did not have time, but wish we could have seen Auckland form that perspective.

Super easy to get on and off wherever you want, clean buses, and lots to see on the routes. We sat up top in the open-air section for most of the ride and it was very pleasant.

Driver kept pulling over. Cut off part of the tour so he could make it back by 5-5:10 pm. Weren’t able to get off the bus as he repeated said bus behind us was last bus and 15 minutes away. This left us seeing ONLY the shopping areas. Waste of time and money. Would like a refund

They did not have enough buses for the amount of people. We had to wait over 30 min for the bus at stops, did not run on time. At numerous stops we saw people could not get on the bus as there was no seats. It is not worth the money. The ticket is for 24 hrs but it only runs from 9:00-5:00. If you are on a cruise ship it is not worth it.

We boarded the red line bus ready to start our day with the Auckland Sky Tower Stop 2. Once on our way from stop 1 the bus went straight past stop 2 without prior advice. We ended up staying on then when we arrived at the war memorial, we were advised bus changing to the blue line. We quickly departed bus to run to the bus in front which was red but pulling away. Fortunately they saw us running and stopped. We then continued around the red line back to stop 2 - 60 minutes later for the Auckland Sky Tower. Commentary didn’t match location. Aircon on one bus not working. After the sky tower we went to Parnell St for a snack. Then back on the bus to come back to port. A fair wait in time between buses. Might have been cheaper to uber for two persons. The staff were friendly

Apart from a bit longer wait than 30 minutes at one stop, it was a great way to see a bit more of Auckland. Would do it again.
