Very quick day, but full of so much! I chose the Te Puia side trip, and was really happy with the balance of the day! I wish we had an extra hour or so to swing by the redwoods too, but the tour was well organized (long drive tho!) and got to see lots of cool things in one day!

Great tour. Full day so make sure to bring snacks. Our guide Jason was so knowledgeable and thoughtful, he made sure we had a great time and answered all our questions! The Haka was very special and the guides at Te Puia were amazing as well

Long day but worth the trip. There are different options. So, choose carefully. The Māori site and cultural show were wonder. The show had beautiful musical numbers and the Haka dance. Geysers were amazing. Plenty of time to walk around the steam vents and mud pools.

Had a great day trip to Rotorua. We visited some geothermal parks and the colourful pools and bubbling mud!The landscape was beautiful and it was a fascinating place to see. Walking around the thermal areas was easy and well set out, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way. A big part of what made the day so enjoyable was our tour guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience even better by sharing interesting facts, local history, and stories along the way. He kept everything organised, made sure everyone was comfortable, and added a great sense of fun to the trip. Learning about the local Māori culture added to the day. Overall a great day.

Wayne was our guide and driver and he was fantastic. Super timely with pick up and provided great information on our long drive to Rotorua and back. The Maori experience was probably my personal highlight. There were a number of hiccups trying to schedule this tour just because it’s low season and they’re not running every tour every day. The company did work with me to find a day that fit best with my tight schedule even though I had to move a number of things around for it to work. Overall, I do recommend this tour.
