I’ve been on a lot of sunset cruises all over the world. This one was disappointing to say the least. The boat was old and dingy. The audio system was horrible. The view of the sunset was hampered by a bunch of cranes. If they had positioned the boat a little differently it could have been great. Last but not least, there were WAY too many people on this boat!

The skipper and first mate are first rate! You can tell they have a passion for the sea, the bridge, the bay, sunsets, big boats and small ones! It was a delightful time on the water and we had spectacular views of the skyline, the lighted bay bridge, the islands, the harbor, along with down to earth commentary by the skipper who has been at this for many years and still marvels at the things he sees every night!

It was a great experience. The crew could not have been nicer. The captain did a commentary the entire time.

Whilst showing an Aussie friend around Auckland for the weekend we thought this trip looked like a bargain. Didn’t know what to expect. But boy did we luck out! The boat had a bit of personality but we felt safe and welcome by the skipper and crew. They went out of their way to show everyone the coolest spots around the harbour and were very informative. Made sure we spent plenty of time getting the best views as the sun set behind the harbour bridge. Then enjoyed the amazing lit up city and bridge on the way back. Honestly, what an absolute treat! Go for it! It was a total highlight!

Lovely relaxing cruise on Auckland Harbour. Crew were very friendly, and commentary very informal and informative. Crew made the most of the sunset with ample time for plenty of photos. Very enjoyable way to spend an evening

A great way to end our 4 week tour if NZ. The weather was near perfect with a superb sunset. every aspect of the cruise was enjoyable and conductedxat a relaxed pace. The skipper gave an informed commentary - picking out a lot of historical features and landmarks as we toured the harbour. The commentary was measured and didnt dominate the cruise. We were given loads of photo opportunitues ( and advanced warning/ stopping and turning the boat) to allow everyone the chanfe to get the best pictures as we passed landmarks. The return route under the Harbour Bridge as the sun wax setting and the bridge / city lights came on was very memourable. We had time on tge boat to chat with other passengers and space to move about without it feeling too crowded. The spirit on the cruise was rekaxed and everyone appeared to be well looked after by an attentive crew . I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see Auckland from a different vantage point.

The captain was very informative about the harbor and city. He cruised at a good pace and waited at certain places to ensure everyone was able to take plenty of beautiful pictures of the sunset and city skyline. The tour was supposed to be 1 1/2 hours but was close to 2 hours. It was a pleasant excursion.

An enjoyable harbour sunset cruise. The boat was smallish and a little dated but the activity was good overall
