What To Expect
Dip yourself into a cold lake under the Northern Lights also known as Auroras and let your mind rest – as bizarre as it sounds! Tonight this is possible on this 3-hour excursion to a private secret venue in the middle of wilderness in Lapland. Guided floating is perfectly safe with a high-quality rescue suit that covers your whole body and keeps you dry. As you have your own clothing under the suit you will not get cold even in the open 0-degree water. The environment conditions are truly arctic! If the weather is clear, you can see beautiful stars and may even get to marvel magnificent Northern Lights here in Rovaniemi. Hot drinks will be provided during the tour.

4.00Went on the Artic Floating excursion. Well coordinated, great guides who were fun and knowledgeable. Very relaxing, not cold in the suit. Unfortunately we got pretty wet in the process so take a change of clothes just in case.

5.00This is one of the best things I have ever experienced, 100% recommend. Our guides, Ali and Tiia, were amazing. The floating was so relaxing and we were lucky to get a clear night with amazing northern lights, and shooting stars. The hot drinks and marshmallows were so delicious as well.

5.00What an amazing, exhilarating, and powerful once in a lifetime experience!!! I had reservations about doing this because of water and the Arctic 😅, but any coldness I felt was well and truly taken over by how much I loved the experience. Communication was impeccable. We weren’t rushed at all once the experience began. It was very much guided by when we were ready to move on. The suits keep all the water out! My suggestion is wear warm clothes and many layers as you would if out and about. No Northern Lights while floating, but looking up and seeing millions of stars, the Milky Way, and shooting stars. Just, wow! On the way back, I was blessed to get my first glimpse of the Northern lights too 🥹. I have the highest of praise for our leaders Tiia and Alejandro. They were professional, personable, knowledgeable, and created a wonderful evening full of memories. Highly recommend! 🙏🏻

The staff were great and we especially enjoyed our time chatting to the guide from Finland. He answered so many questions about life as a young man in Finland. Fascinating

5.00That was amazing. The Eetu Guide is very young, but very prepared: cross-referencing the weather data with other data, he knows how to find the right spot from which to admire the wonderful Finnish Northern Lights. Highly recommended a tour with him and Safartika. Memories and beautiful photos.
