Come with us for your Aurora hunt for an amazing and ethical experience underneath the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts & use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot we will dress in warm thermal suits and boots, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a homemade meal.
You'll be shown how to use your camera, photograph the Aurora, and our guides will take photos of you, which are provided for free in web-sized resolution after the tour.
Relax by the fire with hot chocolate before being returned back to Tromsø island to your hotel. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our experienced team of Aurora Hunters will do their best, every night of the season.

The whole experience was a fake. The guide pretended to be looking for Auroras when all the stops were abviously been pré determined , they were not hunting for auroras , as they claim in the website . Not recomendable.

The guides were incredible and fun to be around. Shoja is an INCREDIBLE PHOTOGRAPHER that not only showed all of us how to properly capture the Northern Lights in our iphones, but helped me learn how to shoot the night sky with a 35mm! He was easily approachable and the location that they took us to "Luksvtn fjord" in a dark clearing near the water's edge that had very little light pollution to see this incredible phenomenon! He even took several individual photos of us with the Northern Lights showing behind us in the photos! Great memories indeed! The soup (parsnip and curried carrot) was delicious and they kept us warm with a fire. It was good to also hear about the company's commitment to the environment and not leaving burnt wood until the snow melt and other "leave no trace" efforts that they do. The bus was comfortable and warm and it had all of the equipment that we needed. Driver was great and professionally navigated through very dark areas in the snow to get us where we needed to be. Very reputable company and would encourage anyone that is looking to see the Northern Lights, to use this company. Very knowledgeable about Norway, the various areas (fjords) and where the Northern Lights would show from using their tracking programs (its like they were collaborative meteorologists to predict where the phenomenon would show up).

Mía was an amazing guide! She’s super knowledgeable about Tromso and the science behind the northern lights. I appreciated learning about how and when we might see the northern lights. She kept us all informed about our aurora hunt and when we might see something. I enjoyed our dinner by the campfire too! We just received our photos, and they’re amazing! I appreciate how many photos Mia would take of us! Jodnas was a great driver too! Felt safe on the icy snowy roads of Tromso. I would definitely do this tour again!
