The Aurora hunt tour on the 15th March was amazing. Fabien, our guide, and Illyan, our driver, were both welcoming, professional, helpful, passionate and knowledgeable. Fabien picked a stunning spot in a valley surrounded by mountains and water to wait for clouds to clear and lady aurora to show. While we waited we had a bonfire and delicious soup. When the clouds cleared we were so fortunate to see the most beautiful display, the sky came alive. Fabien took gorgeous photos of everyone at various times throughout the evening and stunning shots of the landscape also. Thank you SO much Fabien and Illyan for a priceless night.

We had booked the express aurora hunt with Wandering Owl and unfortunately there were not enough people to go ahead with the tour. The company were very accommodating though and let us join the full tour. We left at 6pm and arrived back at around 1am. It was fantastic! We were very lucky as the conditions were great for the northern lights and they danced in the sky from the minute we arrived at the destination. Jordan was an excellent guide. He accommodated everyone in the group and ensured that everyone managed to walk safely through the snow to the spot where he set up the campfire. It is very useful to have "spikes" or other grips on your shoes for this tour as it is quite icy. The head torches that Jordan provided were also invaluable. We were offered arctic suits and boots but had full ski-wear and snow boots so we didn't need to use the suits. I would recommend taking hand warmers as it did get quite cold even on a milder night. Jordan was very knowledgeable about the northern lights and was checking for updates all evening on the conditions. He took some excellent photos and sent them to us afterwards. The display was so impressive though that we could take photos easily on our phones. We were served vegan soup and cookies next to the campfire. It is best not to drink too much coffee before the tour as there is only one bathroom stop at a service station at the beginning of the tour. We drove to the coast as the conditions were good but some groups drive further to the border with Finland.

Jordan was very organized, polite, respectful. We had a great time and saw amazing northern lights. He was able to spot them as we were driving. We did not finish until 1:30 am. We definitely hunted the Aurora lights

Great experience, we were afraid that we would have an unlucky night and miss the northern lights but the patience of the group pulled through

This was a great team to chase and catch the Northern Lights with. Professional, friendly and helpful. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Jordan explained what we were seeing and likely to see and why. They also picked us up and dropped us back to our cruise ship.

Winter gear was provided, wear boots! We didn’t know if we would see the northern lights because of cloud cover, but the sky is opened up and it was unbelievable

Sophie and driver Michael were the best guide and hosts you could wish for. Very knowledgeable and courteous. They took us to a fantastic spot for scenery and served hot soup around a bonfire while we waited for the aurora. We didn't have to wait long before we were rewarded with amazing dancing colours and an ever changing show. One of the most memorable evenings, finally ending with hot drinks, cookies and a drop off outside our accommodation. Thanks so much for another tick on my bucket list. Would recommend to everyone.

One of the greatest experiences of my life!! Alba was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The past couple of days it was really rainy so there was some worry about not seeing the lights but Alba reassured the group that its important to have hope. His quick decision making led us to the most beautiful light show ever!! Truly an incredible and exciting time. Food provided was so delicious as the entire group sat around a fire chatting with one another. This is an excursion I will never forget, thank you. Also shoutout to the driver for getting there safely!! (I cannot remember his name at the moment but he was great too :D )
