Come with us for your Aurora hunt for an amazing and ethical experience underneath the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this tour, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts & use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot, we will dress in warm thermal suits and boots, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a homemade meal.
You'll be shown how to use your camera, photograph the Aurora, and our guides will take photos of you, available for free in web-sized resolution after the tour.
Enjoy our hot chocolate before being returned to Tromsø island to your hotel. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our experienced team will do their best every night of the season.

Despite the challenging weather conditions and limited aurora activity, our driver and guide made an exceptional effort to ensure we had the opportunity to witness the auroras. The atmosphere was delightful, and the experience of having a bonfire in a remote location with people from various backgrounds was truly memorable. We were fortunate to see some auroras initially, and although they briefly disappeared, our patience was ultimately rewarded with their reappearance. It was a wonderful experience, and we are deeply grateful for all the dedication they demonstrated in helping us see the auroras.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. Bart and Cris were excellent guides, and as a solo 73 yo traveler I felt well taken care of. We were lucky to have a good showing of lights. And Bart provided us with fantastic high quality photos, included here , much better than I could take with my old iPhone. Thank you!

I’ve been with this tour before and had amazing luck seeing lights and loved the tour so expectations were high and the outcome was a fun trip where the wonderful guides drove across three countries to find the lights in the heavy weather. Unfortunately no luck but not without trying and trying again. Next time!

Such an amazing experience, well worth it! We went in late January and got lucky with a clear night. Mixu and Michael were wonderful guides. Mixu was very knowledgeable, not just about the northern lights but about the sky. We got quite a show. We had a great spot, and everything was well organized. Highly recommend.

We loved the aurora hunting tour! We were very lucky with our guide Fabio, the night was very cloudy but thanks to his technical knowledge he took us to an area where we could enjoy this beautiful weather phenomenon!

I booked the tours with my brother (age 66, 60 and hobby photographer (nature/wildlife). We were both well prepared for the week in Tromso and were both especially looking forward to the Aurora-hunt tours as we just know this from pictures and TV. We booked the "Winter Wonders package" (2 Aurora-hunt nights & 1 day trip through the Arctic Fjords) According to Fabien, our guide, we were extremely lucky to see already on our 1st trip these enormous activities in the sky with "dancing" Aurora. On top of all this came the fact that Fabien, our guide, (with our driver Vitek) did well take care of us, including fire-camp, soup, coffee/tea. They drove us nicely back to the front-door of our hotel so that we just had to jump out of the bus and into the lobby, thus avoiding us a late 10 minutes walk with our camera-bags. Thanks guys :)

Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights, the crew was amazing and really tried to find a opening in the clouds. Made sure we were warm and well fed in the cold weather. Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate by bringing clouds and snow, but It’s all part of the “chase”. Regardless, we had a blast. Highly recommend. Love the mini-bus. Comfortable and more importantly, easy to enter and exit quickly.

Great experience overall. Magda was a fun, caring and attentive guide, and Ilyan drove us to what felt like everywhere that night - we were unlucky with the cloud cover but finally got a good glimpse of the lights after dinner. Great soup and hot chocolate too!
