This is the best aurora viewing tour I have been on in Yellowknife. Our guide, Peter made sure to inform us of the pickup timing and location in advance. He then arrived on time and brought us to the cabin where hot chocolate and snacks were waiting. When the aurora wasn't visible, he would chop wood to keep the fire going for us to stay warm. He would constantly check on the status of the aurora to make sure we never missed it when it came out. Whenever the aurora was visible, he would take the initiative to choose a good angle and set up his camera to take lots of good pictures for us. In between taking pictures, Peter would share about his experience viewing the aurora and living in Yellowknife. Peter is really humorous and made waiting more than bearable. After the tour had concluded, Peter promptly sent us the pictures which we were satisfied with. Moreover, he went above and beyond when he helped us to re-upload the pictures several days later as we preferred them uncompressed. I would recommend this tour especially if you get to go with Peter.
