What To Expect
Krakow
Your tour will start with a pickup from the meeting point you select. Please notice, due to Museum's limitations exact time of pickup might be changed. Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum is located in Oświęcim, about 65 km from Kraków. The drive to the museum will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. During the journey, your guide or driver will explain the itinerary step by step and answer any questions you may have. Before the tour begins, there will be a 15-minute break for restroom use.

The first part of your tour takes you to Auschwitz I, the original main concentration camp. Here, you will learn in detail about the establishment and early history of the camp, as well as various significant events that occurred at this site. This location also houses the main section of the exhibition, providing a comprehensive insight into the camp’s history and its impact.

5.00We booked this tour at the last minute when the tour we had booked canceled. I am so happy we were able to go with Touristico. They reached out right away after we booked and confirmed our reservation. They had such good and clear communication. I had a question which they answered right away. Our van was very clean and comfortable and our driver was friendly and nice. The trip to Auschwitz is run by the museum itself but our driver took care of securing our tickets and making sure we were with the appropriate guide for our tour. Touristico made it a five star experience!

5.00I was picked up outside my apartment on time. The driver was friendly and polite and drove us safely to and from Auschwitz- Birkenau. I ordered the packed lunch for £10 which was very nice and well worth the cost. Our guide was great. She was very knowledgeable, answered any questions and obviously cared about guiding us around both camps explaining the atrocities that occurred there. All in all a great trip (albeit a sad and thought provoking one). I would definitely recommend anyone to take a trip with touristico.

Auschwitz tour with touristico

5.00As soon as I booked the tour guide messaged about pick up time and asked with we wanted a packed lunch too. They were very detailed on what to bring and the length of the trip. Rojo picked us up from the hotel at 5.55am with 5 other passengers and we went straight to Auschwitz that took 1hr 10 minutes. When we arrived the tour was with touristico. They gave us our tickets for entry and stickers for the group we were is and and English speaking guide was waiting. Straight in with Ticket and I’d then headsets on to start tour. This lasted 1hr 30. We then had a 15 min lunch break. My packed lunch was amazing. Then got back on the bus for next part of the trip. The guide again showed us around for about an hour then the tour had finished. We got back on the bus and we were at the hotel by 12.15. Great tour communication
