I’ve been to Los Angeles many times to visit my kids but never spent much time in Hollywood. I decided to try the Hollywood tour and was impressed with how much we learned about the area and even got to see some celebrity homes. Our driver/tour-guide was very knowledgeable and had us laughing most of the time. The van was air conditioned and very comfortable for the whole 3 hour tour. We got very close to the Hollywood sign and took some great photos. Also, bathroom breaks were much appreciated! Highly recommended!

Justin was our fabulous, knowledgeable tour guide. He took us to many places, including; the Hollywood sign, where he took plenty of photos of us and made sure we stood in just the right place, for the perfect shot, with the sign right behind us. We had such a great time!

Great tour! Able to get to places larger tours cannot. Tour office in store front on Hollywood Blvd that may be hard to find but look for someone out front holding your bus sign. Looks a little sketchy but it was great!

I never got the tour. I was in the area and said I didn’t know where I was going but got told “too bad” and was left behind. Did a different tour. Not a great look for a 1st timer to LA. I would actually like a refund but I really doubt it happens.

How tour was a 10 out of 10! Our tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable and made the experience super fun. The entire group sang and asked questions and took pictures galore! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The actual Hop On Hop Off was great but I elected to do the yellow route out to Santa Monica. Far too long and 1.5 hours between pickups. I should have stayed on the red route!

If you’re thinking about booking a Hollywood to Beverly Hills tour - do it. This 3-hour experience was great! From start to finish, we had an absolute blast! Our tour guide, Justin Kress, was the highlight. He’s fun, funny, super engaging, and clearly knows his stuff ... but what really sets him apart is how he brings everything to life. There’s an accompanying playlist throughout the tour, and yes - Justin sings along (and actually sounds good!), he also incorporated a "points-based' triva game, which made the whole experience feel even more immersive. He also shows photos and videos along the way, connecting each stop to its history ... whether it’s a famous movie scene, celebrity moment, or iconic landmark. It really helps you feel the significance of what you’re seeing. And let me tell you—when we got to the Hollywood sign? Justin turned into a full-on photographer. He knows exactly how to position you, find the right angles, and capture the perfect shot. Those pictures came out amazing! This wasn’t just a tour—it was an experience. We laughed, learned, took incredible photos, and truly had a ball. Highly, highly recommend!

My friends and husband &I had a great time. I believe it was because of Jose our driver and guide. Jose had the best personality and knowledge of all of Hollywood and beyond. I have lived in Southern California (Long Beach) since 2003. I have been to Hollywood but have never been shown and told where the Hollywood sign, the views of LA and Beverly Hills and Sunset Blvd. Very well planned and had a great restroom stop in Beverly Hills. Big thanks to Jose he was the best!

It would have been helpful to know parking information up front, but we used an app to locate public parking. Plan for about $20 to cover time for the check-in time, wait, and the tour itself. If you want to walk and explore Hollywood Boulevard, add more time. There is definitely a lot to see. Once we found our way to the meeting spot, our tour guide, Justin K., picked us up in an air-conditioned van. The van is a bit cramped, but comfortable for us -- my husband sat in front, and my daughter and I sat on the left in the second row. At first I was pretty happy with the seating but soon realized that I couldn't see what Justin was talking about on the right side of the vehicle or that were located outside of the window view. This is where it would have been helpful to be in an open vehicle or a vehicle with a moon/sunroof. Our tour group was small, which was really nice. I think there were 9 of us plus the tour guide. Overall, the tour and the stops were great. Noah Wyle (The Pitt) was getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during our tour, so that was pretty cool to see from the vehicle. The Hollywood sign stop was great! We had plenty of time to take photos. The celebrity homes stop was also quite nice. The Beverly Hills sign stop, which was also the restroom break, was way too short considering we had to wait in line to use the small restroom, had to cross a busy intersection, and the sign itself was flooded with other tourists. It was difficult to find to a spot to get a good photo like the ad shows. We were only given 5 minutes for this stop, which should have been longer to allow sufficient time for a restroom break and photo ops that was not in an exclusive location like the first two stops. There are many tour choices, but we opted for the $55 tour. I'm glad I read through the descriptions because the other (cheaper) tours were only "pass by" which I would have been really disappointed about. Justin was great, and he offered to take photos with our own cameras. Do not expect perfect pictures because he is not a professional photographer. He will capture a group shot for you, which is awesome!
