My family visited the Jaguar Cafe for a drink but a cooking class was going on while we stopped in. The food looked very yummy and the woman teaching the class was very attentive and answering the couple’s questions. Great place to stop for food and drink and/or take a cooking class! One of the employees also helped us get our taxi back to the port which was very nice. Overall the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs!

This was the most amazing cooking experience I could’ve ever attended. We made so much authentic Mexican food and it was a pleasure working with everybody and we had so much fun even the kids. I cannot wait to come back and try it again and see the wonderful people and enjoy the good times that we had here. If you want to learn to make Mexican food, this is where you need to go and again, the people are the most friendliest.

This Mexican restaurant in Mexico is a must-visit! The vibrant décor and welcoming staff set the perfect tone for an unforgettable meal. The carne asada tacos, enchiladas verdes, and fresh guacamole were bursting with authentic flavor, and the house-made salsas had just the right kick. The margaritas were refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout. Five stars for an incredible experience I can’t wait to repeat!

First time in Costa Maya. My wife and I arrived a bit early, were warmly greeted by the owner Colleen, and spent an hour relaxing on the beach just across from Cafe Jaguar waiting for our class to start. The water was warm, we had a couple of tasty mezcal drinks, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. There were a number of locals walking up and down the beach offering various things for sale but they were not pushy at all. The class was awesome. Super friendly and funny staff. The food was excellent and you get plenty of it. Both my wife and I had to take some back with us. I tried making a tortilla by hand and loved that. After the class they have lockers for you to use if you want to head back out to the beach. We tried snorkeling. Not much to see but the water is super warm. Overall great time. I would definitely recommend this. It’s a small, intimate, informative and tasty experience with wonderful people. You can’t beat that.
