5.00We had a fun, exceptional and yummy experience at Cafe Jaguars Waterfront Mexican cooking class. Your chefs were amazing, they had us laughing and enjoying every bite from start to finish. From the guac, the chicken tacos and gifting each of us with achiote, they welcomed us as their own family. Thank you for my birthday sash and the delicious birthday cake, it truly was an everlasting memory for my 50th birthday! The icing on the cake was continuing our day at your beautiful beach, it was a relaxing and perfect ending of a very memorable, yummy and fun time!

5.00This cooking class was a hands on activity appropriate for couples, families, or solo travelers. We each got to prepare our own appetizers and main entre and they provided options for pork, chicken, or vegetarian meals. The instruction was excellent with tips for customizing the flavor profiles to personal preference. The restaurant was clean and pleasant and they paid good attention to hygiene (proper cleaning, gloves provided for working with raw meat). The group size was very nice such that we were able to get to know other participants as well as the restaurant owner and her staff. I would recommend.

5.00Claudia and the other ladies were amazing. There were 8 total in our class. It was very organized and we learned to make pastor pork for tacos, guacamole, pico de gallo, and homemade tortillas. Then we ate our creations. It is located directly across from the beach with lots of shopping and I got a $25 hour massage prior to the class on the beach.

5.00Wonderful experience! Claudia and Liss (and Chayo!) were wonderful hosts and made cooking and eating fun! Would highly recommend this for anyone visiting Costa Maya. Take a taxi for $5 / person there and back. Get there early or stay late to also enjoy the beautiful beach the restaurant is overlooking.

5.00Diego and the ladies were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived early, and they provided a private class for us. The food was delicious and we had a nice time. Afterwards, my aunt hung out while I had a massage on the beach. Afterwards, they helped us get a taxi back to the ship. We had a delightful day. I wish them luck and would definitely recommend this tour.

5.00Since we only had a short stay from the ship, we specifically searched for a suitable activity and came across the cooking class at Jaguar Cafe – a really great decision. The course was super organized and really fun. Together with the owner or cook we prepared tortillas, which was not only interesting but also very entertaining. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, the service top and the quality also outstanding. It was particularly positive that everything adapted flexibly to our ship times – which made the process much more relaxed for us. We felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the morning very much. Especially considering that the beach in Costa Maya itself is not special and you are often approached there, this was the best decision for us. For the few hours it was a really successful and fun experience that we can absolutely recommend.
