The tour guide was brilliant. Had so much knowledge and history to share. The sights we went to we less "touristy" and that was special. The bikes themselves were really great. Highly recommended!!!

Tour operated and ran by Parmeet and his lovely wife. WOW!! what can I say we were a group of friends and family out to celebrate my birthday in Mauritius and this tour was booked as part of the celebrations. It was absolutely one of the best days of our time in Mauritius. I was one of the nervous ones but the instructions and guidance along the tour were 💯 and catered for all abilities. We were taken to places you cannot visit unless you go with Parmeet - local lunch spot, breathtaking beaches, tortoise & sea turtle sanctuary, mangroves the list goes on. The history of the island and the villages away from the tourist spots are fascinating- lovely to see the real Mauritius. Book this tour you will not regret it!!

We had a great half day on ebikes. Everything was expleined by guid. You drive about 35km in total. There are about a 10-12 stops around the villages. You’ll see beaches, temple, church, oysters farm, feeding turtles, local lunch and bakery. You’ll drive on the streets,so must pay attention to local cars and buses. Don’t forget sun cream and mosquito spray!. Thank you very much that me and my wife had a wanderful experience with you. Regards couple from Slovakia❤️

Great day. Beautiful discovery of the area when we thought we had already seen everything! We feel safe because we are well supervised. The bike is great. We had local lunch and it was delicious. Our attendant was very pleasant. I highly recommend.

We booked this tour as we we're staying in the area for our honeymoon and thought it would be a great experience. And it most certainly was a great experience. When myself and my wife arrived, we met Parmeet and his lovely wife. Parmeet was our guide for the day. Before we set off he showed us the bikes we would be using as well as clear instructions, demonstration and a quick practice to ensure we would be ok for the trip. The bikes themselves were great to ride, very modern, easy to use and enormous fun. Parmeet took us around the lesser known sites across Northern Mauritius towns and villages, from seeing sandy beaches, Hindu temples and Catholic churches. But the highlights for us were a traditional Mauritian lunch in the heart of Grand Gaube, and the Mangrove Nursery. I don't want to give too much away but the Mangrove nursery was a spell binding place, so natural and raw, and it was a privilege to visit. Also being able to see, ride and experience a side of Mauritius you won't see if you stay in your resort hotel was just so amazing for us, to learn and see everyday life and learn about traditional cultures here. Safe to say we thoroughly enjoyed our day and Parmeet was knowledgeable, approachable and made us feel at ease throughout the whole day, was an absolute pleasure. Well worth doing and would definitely recommend. One thing I will say to anyone thinking of booking this trip. May seem obvious but be aware the route is all on public roads, expect plenty of traffic. Essential that you are happy, comfortable and have some experience with riding on roads and are a competent cyclist.

Parmeet is a fantastic guide who safely took us on this 32km ride round the North of the Island. He took time to orientate us on how the bikes work before we set off. The bikes are all in excellent condition. The stops were all great and we felt like we got to know so much of this part of the Island. Particular highlights were the beautiful beaches, delicious lunch and pastries, and seeing tortoises. This was a real highlight for us all, especially my 3 older teens.

We had the most amazing time with Parmeet on this tour of the North East coast. The instructions on how to use the bikes was excellent and they let us practice before starting the tour. We are used to European e-bikes, these were much more powerful and once we understood what we needed to so then it was great. The equipment was of the highest quality, we were even given a walking talkie earpiece so we could communicate on the tour. The sites visited were great. Parmeet was a fantastic guide with a calm and relaxed approach, each stop off was better than the last. Our kids aged 18 and 15 years loved it. Feeding the tortoises was a highlight as were all of the beautiful off the beaten track beaches we visited which were amazing quiet. If you are looking for something a bit different then this trip is for you. We would do it again if we return to this beautiful island.

Parmeet was an excellent host, the tour was fantastic, we saw so much of the north coast area and hidden gems. The bikes were easy to operate and in excellent condition. Health and safety was paramount and we all felt safe throughout the tour. The food was authentic and an awesome surprise, our teenage boys also loved it. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I booked this bike tour on our honeymoon in Mauritius. It was our third bike tour (we'd also done one in Paris and one in Amsterdam) although it was our first time using an electric bike. We thought the tour guide wasn't very patient with us and kept demanding we do a better job at keeping up. When a car cut in front of us and we held back, he decided to cancel our experience and return us to the store although we were only 30 minutes in. While we got a full refund we were very disappointed as we were enjoying the experience. It was a poor ending to our time in Mauritius and our honeymoon and turned out we just needed a bit of patience as we began to get the hang of using the bike on the way back to the bike store. We realised the instructions given to us were what confused us and found the bike easier to use when we pedalled rather than the fancy instructions given to us about using the booster to start first. When we returned to collect our things from the store, the tour guide's wife was rude to us and said we should have read the instructions about being an experienced on-the-road cyclists. Nowhere on Viator does it say this and we obviously booked on Viator. We are both decent cyclists just not used to cycling on the road. The other two tours we did we experienced no problem at all and we found the tour guides on those tours a lot more patient. The way we were spoken to by the tour guide and his wife was just appalling. No patience, poor customer service - it's like they've forgotten it's about the customer experience. The tour guide was more concerned with himself being comfortable rather than looking after the people on his tour. There were only two other people on the tour too and one of them mentioned she wasn't very experienced either and mentioned they hadn't seen it say you had to be on the website either. Also just to add that at the very start of the tour my husband expressed concerns about being able to keep up and the tour guide reassured him he just needed time to get used to the bike as even a 12 year old had done the tour before. Why then 15 minutes later was he telling us we needed to be more experienced and should have read the website? We booked on Viator (which didn't say we needed to be expert road cyclists). All in all we are super disappointed and we do not recommend.

Such a great way to see this part of the island. I was a bit nervous of the bike at first, having not ridden an e-bike before, or been on a normal bike for 20 years, but we had some time at the beginning to make sure we were comfortable, and after that it was great fun! Saw some interesting places, and our guide Parmeet was really friendly and knowledgeable.
