5.00My tour guide, Kosei, was waiting for me at Starbucks. We then walked to the Sento, which was exactly what I was looking for: an area in Tokyo with no tourists and a genuine atmosphere. Kosei explained how everything worked and the rules of the place. At first, I felt a bit shy, but seeing how relaxed and easygoing everyone was, I soon enjoyed a blissful hour in the sauna, alternating between the cold tub, hot tub, and an amazing massage chair. If you want to immerse yourself in authentic Japanese life, this experience is for you.
