All of our guides have individual and unique ties to the Amish community and have always enjoyed showing off the “true” Lancaster County. This rich, immersive experience is personally designed to give you a rare window into the authentic Amish culture. Every meal is an amazing experience!

* The PA Department of Agriculture requires us to inform you in advance that these meals are prepared in private homes, which are not licensed or inspected.
* Please dress respectfully and adhere to their preferences to not photograph their faces.

5.00This was a great tour! Susie was our host and prepared a wonderful lunch for us! Her granddaughter, Cathy, was there and was such a help to her grandmother! Would definitely do this again!

5.00Moses, the tour guide, was superb. My wife and I were the only two participants for the tour so we were able to have many extensive conversations. His knowledge of the Amish and the area was both entertaining and enlightening. Our time slot was for a noon trip and meal. The meal was hearty and delicious. Our host, Sarah, was delightful and very willing to answer all the questions we had. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and worth every penny.

5.00We had the best time learning about the Amish with our tour guide, Dave. He was very knowledgable and friendly. We were picked up on time and returned back to the same meeting spot. The host family was beyond incredible as was the food. We loved getting to know Sarah #2 as well as a few of her children. What a great family!

5.00Dave was an excellent tour guide, he is very personable and friendly. As he drove us from the Visitor Center to our meal host family he told us about Amish life and culture. The ride is about 30 minutes long through beautiful Amish countryside. Along the way he pointed out many Amish farms, homes and one room schools. Our meal hosts Barbie and Aaron were very friendly and welcoming. They had a beautiful table set for us when we arrived. The meal was amazingly delicious and plentiful, all homemade. To start we had salad and freshly baked bread with triple berry jam, followed by the main course of mashed potatoes, roast beef with gravy, baked chicken, corn casserole and pickled beets. For dessert we had ice cream and hot lava cake, it was to die for! Our hosts have 8 children and all the little ones came into the room and stayed for a little bit. It was very nice to see them all there. Barbie has her own recipe book and many of her jams for sale. We loved the whole experience and would love to do it again. We highly recommend it!

5.00Wonderful experience to spend part of a day with an Amish family. Aaron & Barbie were terrific hosts. The food was great. We really enjoyed touring their farm and seeing all the animals. Thank you for welcoming us all into your home and sharing with us what a day in the life of an Amish family looks like. It was a wonderful day!!!

5.00Our driver, Moses, was extremely knowledgeable about Amish culture. He was very personable and patient with us. He answered all of our questions and educated us well! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with Barbie, Aaron and their 5 year old son. We will definitely do this again next time we are in the area. I highly recommend it!!

5.00Was a great experience! Moses was a great guide with excellent information and insight. He lives in the area and thus has good knowledge and feel for the area and people. Lunch with Mary, her mother and daughter was terrific. The food was excellent and home cooked. Mary and her mom were great to talk to. Arlene was just as cute as she could be. She took us out to feed the goats, see the horse, chickens and the deer. Thanks to Mary for sharing her home and family. Glad we chose this tour!
