All of our guides have individual and unique ties to the Amish community and have always enjoyed showing off the “true” Lancaster County. This rich, immersive experience is personally designed to give you a rare window into the authentic Amish culture. Every meal is an amazing experience!
* Vegetarian meals are available.
* Please note this tour is not confirmed until we secure an Amish Family host.
* The PA Department of Agriculture requires us to inform you in advance that these meals are prepared in private homes, which are not licensed or inspected.
* Please dress respectfully and adhere to their preferences to not photograph their faces.

4.00A very informative van ride through Amish country to our destination, which was a lovely lAmish home, where our host provided us with a wonderful give meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed. After the meal, we were free to look around the outside of the property, which was beautiful. A wonderful experience!

5.00If you would like to learn a lot about the Amish family and how they live, I would highly recommend taking this tour and also having lunch or dinner with an Amish family. And hopefully you will get Moses as your tour guide. He was fantastic.

5.00From the moment we got into the bus, our guide, Moses, made us feel right at home. He shared so much information about the Amish community, their customs and more! There was one other couple on the tour with us. Our host, Emma, greeted us on the porch. She, along with her husband and young children welcomed us to their dinner table. We were served an amazing meal of baked chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes with brown butter, a noodle dish, homemade bread with jam and peanut butter, baked corn, and other pickled dishes. The dishes literally kept coming and they were ALL so delicious. It was a beautiful evening learning a little about this family and their day to day living. I highly recommend booking this experience. You will not be disappointed. It was worth every dollar spent. We have already convinced our friends to book when they visit PA. It’s unique and gives you an up-close glimpse on how others live—with a sense of respect for others.

The food we shared with them was so delicious and we felt so welcomed into their home. Our tour guide was so informative and answered all our questions thoughtfully and clearly. 5.00Dale the tour guide was amazing! The whole experience me from Sarah’s cooking us an awesome meal and Dales knowledge of the Amish was great. I give the experience 5 stars would definitely do it again. My wife and I had a great time.
